Relaxing

Very good base for sightseeing or to just chill and recharge. Stayed in the farmhouse with another couple. Plenty of room so we both had space. Great kitchen with just about everything you need. Coffee etc a nice touch for anyone arriving late. Pool area...More

About the neighbourhood
There are 3 man-made beaches in the area (made on the edge of lakes which are also used for water sports). Le Mans is only an hour’s drive away and has a very popular old town. There are two 18-hole golf courses at Bauge and Chateau la Valliere which are each only 30 a minute drive away. Le Lude is 10k west where you will find 2 grocery stores, Lidl and Intermarche plus an English pub the Rose and Crown. East is a huge E.Leclerc (like Asda) in the town of Chateau de la Loire.
Getting around
The easiest way to get around and to the property is by car. The property is in the triangle. Almost the same distance to Le Mans north, Tours east and Angers west 48k. All 3 places have over 130 thousand in population and there you will find a wealth of shops, culture and restaurants. There are over 300 Chateaus along the Loire river with the closest being Le Lude 10k.
