Holiday Rental House
A traditional 18th Century 2 bedroom terraced cottage in the historic & very pretty Surrey village of Godstone. The village features in the Doomsday Book and was once a stopping off point for royalty travelling from London to the South Coast. It has many quaint old buildings and a traditional village green complete with duck pond. There are 4 attractive pubs in the village, a post office, small food shops, antique and gift shops, a chemist and a farm shop selling locally produced meat and vegetables. There are some lovely local walks in the area and it is ideally located for exploring Surrey and Sussex and also has easy links by train to central London. The house has a cosy sitting room with fireplace, free internet, gas central heating and 40' wall mounted flat screen Smart TV. Great little cottage, well placed for Gatwick + Kent area, good proximity to Godstone Village + local amenities. Nicely decorated + extremely well equipped. Would definitely book again......only suggestion is to provide parking outside house on the frontage.

Although this cottage is compact it is very charming and very comfortable. The location is also very good as you can walk to Godstone Village within minutes where there are good old fashioned pubs, cafes and restaurants. There are also some lovely walks around the...More

You state that you have given us a low review as the second bedroom was not made up, however I did ask your husband before you arrived whether he would like the bunk bed made and he said it wasn't necessary as you were bringing...More

How to get there
Very easy access from Gatwick airport (15 mins by car) and near Junction 6 on the M25. The village has a local bus service and there are several train stations nearby so day trips into London are easy.
