There is excellent boat mooring and local boat hire which can be moored privately here; fishing is also enjoyed when in season, or at Orchid Lakes with specialist carp coarse fishing lakes ½ mile away. Walking of local pub and other good establishments.
Located in 8 acres on the bank of the River Thames, the property lies in one of the most picturesque areas of South Oxfordshire, within the small hamlet of Burcot-on-Thames, close to the historic towns of Abingdon and Oxford (7 miles) with beautiful and historic Dorchester-on-Thames less than a mile away. From July to the end of August a marquee is set up in the garden, close to the house with seating, tables, crockery and cutlery for 18. All large supermarkets deliver supplies to Dinckley and for special occasions we can provide services of caterers, beauty therapists, wine tasting evenings etc.More
The property is always presented and cleaned to high standard. Although we are more than happy to welcome pets up to 3 dogs as the property is spacious enough - we do not permit them to sleep in bedrooms, so please bring your dog baskets and always clean after them within the grounds and when they return from walks if they are muddy.
Please leave the property in a reasonable and tidy condition as found.
