Holiday Rental House
The Old Bread Oven is tiny but full of character and charm , set in the grounds of the main house. The property is part of a small hamlet called Le Breuil in the Haute Vienne a department of the Limousin. The cottage is surrounded by a lovely garden and looks out over the fields in which there are ponies and horses. Within the garden there are plenty of seating areas in both sunny and shady places with a large barbecue for use by quests. The cottage consists of a small dining sitting area in which the original bread oven is very much a feature of the room. The kitchen and bathroom are also on the ground floor and a steep staircase leads up to 2 rooms on the first floor. These rooms can be made into one double with dressing room or 2 single rooms. It would also suit someone who was interested in photography, painting or fishing.More

About the neighbourhood
The area has many forests, lakes and rolling countryside and is the home to the famous Limousine cattle as well as the lovely Limoge pottery. The main river is called the Vienne and is well worth exploring, we are also within driving distance to the Dordogne.
How to get there
We are 10 minutes on the D10 from Rochechouart by car on the D87 situated in the tiny hamlet of Le Breuil. If you are travelling by air of train, you will need to hire a car to get you to our property. The journey will take your around 40 minutes to reach the cottage. If you are coming with your own vehicle from one of the Ferry ports or the tunnel it is a good day's journey and should get you here late afternoon. Your sat Navigation if you have one should bring you directly to the property if you put in Le Breuil in as the street, and Cheronnac as the city. We are 3 kilometres north of Cheronnac.
