Providing good value for money, the Gites offer comfortable and well equipped self-catering accommodation and are perfect for a quiet and relaxing holiday in the beautiful 3 Lakes area (Les Trois Lacs) of the Creuse Valley. Each of the Gites in this converted barn are comfortably furnished, in this instance for two; one double bedroom; a 'dressing room'; a good sized kitchen/diner and living area with a private terrace area which includes outside table and chairs overlooking the large shared garden.

Set in a very tranquil and rural area (next door to property ref. 580018 and 321121, just the Gites, the English owners who are on hand if required for information and assistance and one retired French neighbour), we are surrounded by fabulous countryside where it appears as though time has stood still, dotted with lovely French villa...

A 100 Euro damage/security deposit will be required on arrival. This will be returned to you when the gite has been checked prior to departure. The Local Taxe De Sejour (Temporary Residence Tax) is .44 cents per night for each person over the age of 18 (children under the age of 18 are exempt). For example: A family of four with two children aged under 18 would pay a total of 6.16 Euros per week, which can be paid at the end of your stay using any loose change you have left. The Gite does not have Central Heating but we can provide a portable Heater at extra cost. Please ask for further information if required.

Le Montinazeau can be found in the North of La Creuse in an area known as Les Trois Lacs (The Three Lakes) the nearest of which is just 15 minutes away and boasts a man-made beach with safe swimming, boating, a small bar and cafe/restaurant, free parking and walks.
The nearest village is under 5 kilometres away and provides a grocery shop; Post Office and Bar/Restaurant. Larger towns are within 10 kilometres providing all services including Banks; Supermarkets; Restaurants; weekly Markets etc.

Access to Le Montinazeau is easy and we can be reached within a day using a network of good roads leading from the ports of Calais (approx. 6 hours), Caen (under 5 hours), Cherbourg (approx. 6 hours) or Saint Malo (approx. 5½ hours). We are situated roughly 25 minutes off the main A20 Motorway.

The Airport of Limoges is only one hour away if you want to fly-drive (a car really is essential to fully appreciate the area).
