Rouffignac-Saint-Cernin-de-Reilhac, Dordogne, Nouvelle-Aquitaine
Welcome to our lovingly restored holiday cottages. At the end of a quiet lane, nestled on the side of a valley, there is no traffic, no noise and no distractions. Despite these tranquil surroundings, we are still close to all the main site seeing attractions at Sarlat, Les Eyzies, Perigueux, Beynac and Domme. Originally barns, both properties have been recently renovated and are well equipped to provide you with everything you will need for your stay. Newly decorated and furnished, they have a bright and light feel, while still retaining some of the original oak beams and woodwork. But in all honesty, the views are what make this property really special. Sitting on the terrace with a glass of wine on a summers evening, watching the spectacular sunsets over the valley and the chateau, will give you holiday memories to take away and cherish... We had a great time in Karen's place, relaxing in a beautiful region of France ! The house is big enough for a couple, completely autonomous and contains everything you will need ;-)

One of two cottages, a really cute, recently renovated barn. It sleeps 2, so would suit a couple or a family with a young child. Situated on the side of the valley, the views from the terrace overlooking the valley and the chateau are truly beautiful.
The property includes one double bedroom, with a double bed. A fully equipped open plan kitchen and dining area, together with a TV (UK satellite and French TV). Both the living area and the bedroom open out onto a terrace overlooking the valley, where you can sit and enjoy alfresco dining. Originally a barn, renovated in 2012, so newly decorated and furnished, the cottage is fresh and bright, but still retains some of its rustic charm with original oak beams and woodwork.
Ideally situated, the cottage is close to all the main site seeing at...

There you will find two excellent bakeries offering fantastic fresh breads and mouthwatering pastries. There is also a bank, a newsagents selling British papers, a pharmacy, a post office and three bar/restaurants, where you can sit outside, enjoying a coffee or a beer and watch the world go by.
