Rainbow Place Costa Rica is a cozy apartment totally furnished for 2 visitors, (maximum 3 people on short term bases). The apartment is attached to Rainbow Place, Holistic Center and Yoga Studio, in Río piedras (Lake Arenal), one of the most quiet and relaxing places around the area. It has an astonishing view of the Lake and Arenal Volcano. If you need some days to disconect yourself from the world, in a totally relaxed ambience and enjoy the incredible view, sourrounded by nature, and wildlife, that is the place for you. We provide coffe, tea, eggs (from happy neighbour chickens), and you can harvest the veggies availables in our organic eating garden if you like to make a gorgeous breakfast. We do have 1 cat, Ernesto, and he, for sure, will say "hello" to visitors. So if you are cat/pet allergic, take that into account.
Our appartment is placed in front of Lake Arenal. It is sorrounded by farms, tropical forest and wildlife. It is a really quiet and relaxing place, with an astonishing view. It's a very quiet and safe place. As we are sourrounded by wild nature and wild life, bug spray is highly recomended!
Smoke inside the appartment is not allowed.

Incredible Vista del Lago y el Volcan Arenal!
El apartamento se encuentra en una zona tranquila sin trafico para dormir en paz. Lla dueña Raquel hace toda clase de tratamientos alternativos super relajantes. Raquel tambien ofrece fines de semanas de Detox y Yoga diario. Nosotros escogimos nuestro propio paquete. El apto esta a 5 minutos de Windsurfing, a 20 minutos del Bañadero de Nuevo Arenal para hacer Kayak o Stand up paddle y comer en sus ricos restaurantes. Tiene un cuarto con cama doble, una sala con sofa cama y un baño. Lo super recomiendo. Limpio y ordenado. A una hora del Monumento Nacional El Faraón, a 1 hora de la cascada La Leona en Liberia, y a 1 hora y treinta minutos de Playa Hermosa.

Simply Awesome Beauty and Incredible Views
A lovely serene place to take a break. Relaxing with comfortable surroundings and many places close by to explore.
Also loved the professionalism, knowledge and down to earth help in holistic medicine and the yoga available several days in the week. Natural food and remedies that most can't imagine.
Also what a view of one of the most famous volcanoes in Costa Rica and sunrises right out the bedroom window.
Simply amazing. I would recommend a stay here anytime and especially if you are on your way to activities close to La Fortuna or the Arenal Volcano.

Rainbow Place, un lugar verdaderamente magico!!
No tengo palabras suficientes para describir la paz, y la belleza escénica de Rainbow Place. Definitivamente eso es el paraíso. El apartamento es único y exclusivo, totalmente nuevo e impecable, limpio, con un montón de detallitos que te hacen sentir mejor que en casa!! Se duerme riquísimo porque en el lago Arenal a la tarde y noche siempre está fresquito... riquísimo... La anfitriona es super amable y siempre dispuesta a dar buenos consejos sobre qué hacer o donde ir a comer o qué visitar. Hay muchos muchos secretos en el Lago Arenal y alrededores. Aproveché mi estadía para llevar varias terapias que ofrecen en el Centro Holístico que está al lado, así como varias clases de yoga (impresionante vista mientras practicas y te relajas con los cuencos tibetanos)...
Definitivamente volveré a disfrutar de una estadía altamente relajante, y en esta próxima ocasión aprovecharé para aprender Kittesurf, pues el apartamento está a 5min. de la escuela Ticowind.
Todo ha sido, maravilloso e increíble!! Gracias Rainbow Place. Definitivamente, la magia existe!!

Acogedor apartamento para 2 personas con la mejor vista al lago y volcán Arenal
Rainbow Place es absolutamente mágico, sinceramente. Si lo que buscas es paz y tranquilidad, es el lugar perfecto... y ni que decir de la espectacular vista del Lago y el Volcán. Absolutamente espectacular. Uno queda impactado de ver tanta belleza escénica. En cuanto al apartamento... éste es nuevo, pequeñito, pero acogedor y con todo lo necesario para vivir super confortablemente dos personas. La cocina está totalmente equipada y cómoda. El dormitorio es sencillo pero muy confortable y acogedor. Hasta la vista es muy bonita, ya que da al jardín!! El baño es muy práctico y con ducha de agua caliente. El salón tiene un super-confortable sofá, con la mejor vista al lago... para hacerse unas siestas soñadas. Y toda la zona verde es muy bonita y cuidada. Se puede dejar el carro con total confianza, estacionado en el patio habilitado para ello, ya que el apartamento está situado en un barrio privado, familiar, muy tranquilo y seguro.
Definitivamente volveré a Rainbow Place cuando vuelva a visitar el lago... y por cierto, sí vimos arco iris!!... haciendo honor al nombre!! :-)

Extraordinario, acogedor, tranquilo, limpio, y con una vista impresionante del Lago!
Nada más llegar a Rainbow Place, te invade una tranquilidad, una paz, y quedas admirado de la belleza escénica del lugar. Nunca antes había disfrutado tanto de la vista del Lago y Volcán Arenal. Simplemente es impresionante.
El apartamento es nuevo, acogedor, totalmente equipado para dos personas en cama matrimonial. Tiene un baño con ducha de agua caliente y un acogedor salón-boutique (con muebles de anticuario, hermosos!!! de más de 200 años de antiguedad), que le dan un toque sumamente acogedor y especial. La propietaria es artista, y todo el apartamento está decorado con su obra (que está a la venta) así como obra de otros artistas de la zona.
En el lago arenal, no se necesita aire acondicionado, ya que aunque de día puede estar caluroso, siempre hay brisa fresca... y por la tarde noche... siempre está fresquito, por lo que se duerme tranquilamente. Es una propiedad muy silenciosa, ya que es un barrio privado, familiar, muy seguro y tranquilo.
Si quiere escaparse unos días y relajarse en este hermoso apartamento con la mejor vista de todo el lago... definitivamente es el lugar apropiado. Además, la propietaria, es naturópata, y está siempre dispuesta a dar consejos de salud... y también de actividades de la zona... ya que hay muchos lugares "secretos" por descubrir aún alrededor del Lago Arenal. Ah! por cierto, para los amantes de los deportes extremos: el apartamento está situado a 5min de la escuela de Windsurf y Kitesurf!!

Wow! A great place to stay.
Located on Lake Arenal not far from Tilaran.
We stayed at Rainbow place, Holistic Center
Rainbow place means it rains there when the sun is shining. It is a great place to stay! 1 bedroom apartment with setting room, the coach pulls out into a bed. Hot water shower.
You don't need A/C . Every thing you will need to cook with is there . Pack a lunch for your day trips.
Lots to see! Go on your own, or book a tour with Chata Tours. ( Gabriel) Need translator Gabriel can do that for you to.
If you are sick Gabriel can take you to see a medicine man. Raquel also does natural healing.
I loved this part of Costa Rica !

About the neighbourhood
Lake Arenal is one of the most relaxing and beautiful places of all Costa Rica. The lake view can be really astonishing. It is always fresh & some months there is rain and wind (it's one of the best places to kite surf).
You have plenty of things to do if you want to enjoy the area. We recommend you guided excursions to Cote Lake (UFO zone & Maleku indigenous Sanctuary), or the Hidden Waterfall & also hot springs (1hr away). Close to the appartment, there are some other activities as: horse ridding, treking, kayaking, fishing tours, catamaran tours, kitte surf, windsurf (from november to may only), wakeboard, canopy, skate park, and climbing, among others.
There are several good restaurants & sodas to eat intl. and local food!
Getting around
The most convenient is to have or rent a car. To really enjoy Costa Rica without any limitation, we recommend a 4x4.
But you can also plan and do your trip by bus, and if you are interested in some excursion, you can go by bus or hire a taxi or any tour company.

How to get there
If you have your own car, Rainbow place Holistic Center is situated in between Tilarán and Nuevo Arenal at Lake Arenal. In the West corner of the Lake, exactly on the opposite side of Arenal Volcano.
The reference to find us, is the Restaurant Casa Del Agua. Km #15 from Tilarán to Nuevo Arenal. Looking at the restaurant, you take the path on your left and go up, up, up. It's the second house on your right.
If you come by bus, you stop at Casa Del Agua Restaurant (Río piedras).
