This recently renovated property offers comfortable and spacious accommodation whilst retaining its period charm. A large rear enclosed garden gives a feeling of space and privacy whilst its central location means that you are never far away from things to do and see. Although situated in the main town there is a large park with various amenities for children, playing fields and plenty of space for walking just across the road. Home was perfect. Would have loved some form of a coffee table in lounge room to put your coffee or tea cup on or even your wine glass on. BUT apart from that the home was in a perfect position for us to catching transport...More

Booked No1 as needed accommodation for our son's wedding. No1 was very conveniently located in Douglas and stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Beds very comfy and gorgeous bathroom. Welcome hamper was great too. Heather replied to our answers quickly and was happy...More

It is right on the track at St Ninians!! Near Nobles Park. Heather S was great- approachable and popped round when we needed a lesson on the heating system. Comfortable and cosy. Loved the little electric simulated fire!

About the neighbourhood
Douglas is the Capital of the Isle of Man. No 1 is situated on the outskirts of the town and is near the start of the world famous TT race course. The town itself has a great variety of restaurants, pubs and takeaways. The Promenade is a lovely long stretch of pedestrian walk ways with access to the beach and gardens. The Islands main shopping area is in Douglas as well as the transport hubs for the rest of the Island (Buses, Steam Trains, Victorian Electric Trams and Horse Trams)
