Our holiday cottages are tucked away in the quiet Blagdon valley yet only two miles from the English Riviera beaches at Torquay, Paignton & Brixham.
Ivy Cottage is well designed & furnished with a modern minimal look yet has many original features such as vaulted ceilings & bumpy walls.
Shared outdoor solar heated swimming pool (10.5m x 5.5m, depth 1.2m) open 10.00am to 6.00pm every day, May-Sept, weather permitting.
Ground floor: Living/dining room/kitchen with tiled floors.
First floor: 2 bedrooms: 1 with double bed, 1 twin.
Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.
Bed linen and towels included, Central heating; gas hob; elec. oven; m/wave; d/washer; f/freezer. Travel cot & highchair on request (no charge). Wi-fi. included; Freeview TV. DVD.. Shared laundry room with w/machine & dr...

Blagdon House Cottages
We stayed here in July, with the recent weather, we could have been anywhere, peacful, idyllic and beautiful.
In a great location to check out South Devon, will definitely be returning!

Lovely cottage
Had a wonderful week at Ivy cottage. Lovely, clean and spacious cottage. So quiet but close to the local areas by car. Piers and Helen were very friendly and welcoming and were always available if needed. Will definitely be recommending Blagdon Cottages

A truly amazing place

Devon Holiday
Set in a peaceful location the holiday cottages are ideally placed to explore south Devon's attraction so and town's. Highlights of our visit were, Brixham, Totnes, Salcombe, Teignmouth.
We also spent time visiting National trust sites such as the wonderful gardens at overbeck and coleton fishacre, with many more very local.
With busy days the cottages comfort was welcomed and also had the advantage of being able to enjoy a relaxing in the swimming pool.
Great holiday, lovely accomodation.

A very nice little cottage that was clean and welcoming. We would highly recommend staying here and we will be returning later in the year

Beautiful Place 5REVIEW
Stayed three nights at the Cottage and didn't want to go home. Cottage was nice, bed was super comfy and we had access to the pool as it was sunny when we arrived. The owners were very friendly and helpful, I would highly recommend staying here if you're after a quick getaway and dont want to leave the UK.

Beautiful cottage
Had a wonderful stay at Ivy cottage, which was whilst rustic and traditional was also very modern and to a high standard.
The owners were very helpful and welcoming and made us feel very much part of their home.
Great pool for the 2 teenage girls and we are already looking forward to returning next year.

Fantastic holiday!
We stayed at oak cottage for 5 days during August. We had a fantastic time, the cottage is perfect. Very clean and well equipped for a family of 4. We had a few warm days so our children took full advantage of the pool which is a great added bonus. We had lots of wonderful days out close by. Will definitely be returning, our only regret is we didn't stay for longer. Thank you Piers & Helen, see you soon 😊

Peace and relaxation
Ivy Cottage was in the perfect location for a peaceful and relaxing break. We were so lucky with the weather which meant that we could sit outside by the pool and make the most of the tranquility. The pool was such a bonus when it got really hot and was perfect for a dip. At Blagdon Cottages, you feel like you are in the middle of the countryside but just a few minutes drive and you are on the main Paignton road and within easy access to all the local attractions which the area has to offer. The only negative thing we found was that the floorboards in the cottage were very creaky and any night time trips to the loo woke the others up! Otherwise, a lovely place to stay and chill out.

Paignton
The cottage was absolutely lovely, clean & tidy & well located. Paignton is a lovely place with loads to do & would have been a perfect holiday had it not rained the entire time we were there. Would go back with out a doubt.

Well-located for the beaches of the English Riviera, the nearest is 10 mins drive away. Totnes, with it's weekly market & gateway to the South Hams is also 10 mins drive. Paignton zoo is 5 mins. & Dartmoor National park is 30 mins drive. Our guests find the location is perfect for exploring the area.

Nearest pub is 1 mile. Main supermarkets about 1 mile. We are 4 miles from the main line rail station at Totnes.

SATNAV alert; Do not follow our postcode TQ33YE for the last few miles.
From M5 take A38 then A380 towards Paignton & Torquay. Continue on A380 past Newton Abbot and stay on A380 towards Paignton/Brixham for approx. 5 miles. At roundabout turn right to MARLDON & continue straight through 2 roundabouts. After 1½ miles, at 1st crossroads in open country turn sharp left into BLAGDON RD. After ¾ mile, take sharp left into Middle Blagdon Lane (note: AFTER Bell Lane). Pass barns on left & after approx. 150 m at the bottom of the hill, Blagdon House Country Cottages will be on your left.
