No 8 was a great location and wonderful base in which to experience Weymouth. Situated only a short walk from the beautiful harbour and with stunning views over Newtons Cove, this property was ideal. I would have no hesitation in booking again.

About the neighbourhood
Weymouth's beach, town centre and historic harbour are just minutes away from the house by foot. Why not visit Portland Harbour and watch the sailing Olympics 2012. The views from the bay are spectacular, stretching across the horizon taking in the World Heritage Jurassic Coastline. There is so much to see and do for all the family making Weymouth the ideal location. The old harbour has several bars, cafes and restaurants offering traditional fish & chips to full a la carte menus to cater for all tastes. All year round entertainment, daytime and evening, including International, sports, cultural and community events, there really is something for everyone. Weymouth Beach and Esplanade is the home of many of the events and festivals that take place in the borough throughout the year, and ...
How to get there
The route to Weymouth via Dorchester on the A35 and then south on the A354. As you come into Weymouth on the new bypass, follow the signs to Portland A354 ignoring signs for Weymouth. Eventually you will come to traffic lights with the inner harbour on the left, Asda on the right and the new houses being built in front of you. Keep in the middle lane here, but go straight on up the hill, (still on A354). Carry on further up the hill through 2 more sets of lights, Turn left at the next traffic lights following the signs for the old harbour onto Rodwell Avenue. Follow the road until you come to a roundabout, take the 3rd exit into Newtons Road, Turn right into The Maltings then take the next left into Barley Way. Number 8 is the last house on the right.
