There are pegs and a basket if you would like to hand wash anything, feel free to use the clothes line outside the apartment. The link between the house and apartment contains a microwave, fresh bedding and towels, dust pan and brush, mop and cleaning equipment should you need it. We have 2 small friendly dogs on the premises, therefore your dogs are welcome however there is an additional charge of £50 extra per dog. Smoking is not permitted inside the building.More

Serene location

Great place!

Had a 2 week working stay in this comfortable and immaculate apartment. Paul and Melissa couldn’t have been more hospitable. Many thanks and sorry for drinking all the coffee and singeing the oven gloves!

About the neighbourhood
Tingwall in Gott is approximately 6 miles from the main town of Lerwick. To the south a small fishing village of Scalloway is approximately 4 miles away, here you will find a grocery shop, local butcher, pharmacy, vetinary practice, hairdresser, restaurant and cafe. To the west approximately 4 miles is Whiteness and Weisdale, here you will find a local butcher/grocery shop and another grocery shop with petrol pumps further down the road. Shetland jewellery and Bonhoga Gallery & Cafe are well worth a visit while your passing. To the north approximately 5 miles is Nesting, here you will find a local shop and petrol pumps. Further north approximately 20 miles is the village of Brae, you will find a Coop supermarket, local garage, food.
Getting around
We recommend that you hire a car for travelling around the island. There is a bus stop just a short walk along the road.
