Island View is a Grade II listed, recently refurbished, larger than average, spacious, two storey town centre property which forms part of a beautiful Georgian building with a gated entrance to the side and secure parking behind electric gates. The apartment is on the first and second floor above a parade of shops and is approached via a staircase next to the designated parking space.

Island view has been thoughtfully furnished and equipped to a high standard and with a floor area of 880 sq feet has ample space for 4 people and provides everything needed for a comfortable stay in this lovely town. About the neighbourhood
Island View is situated in the heart of Lymington with its eclectic mix of independent shops, cafes and a full variety of pubs and restaurants, all within walking distance. You can leave your car securely parked in the courtyard and enjoy an evening out with a gentle stroll back. There is a weekly online newsletter which lists all the local events, and the charter market which is very popular on Saturdays throughout the year.

The apartment is ideally placed as a base to explore the Isle of Wight, the ferry is very accessible and the sea crossing takes half an hour on Wightlink. The New Forest is minutes away and can be reached on the open topped bus or the train to Brockenhurst where cycle hire is available from the station.
Getting around
Public transport stops right outside the apartment to Southampton and Hythe, Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst and Bournemouth via Christchurch. The forest tour bus also leaves from the high street, hop on and off all day. You really do not need to drive at all, leave the car and enjoy the scenery.

The apartment is in a prominent position at the top of the high street. Public transport is available directly outside the apartment and the railway station is within walking distance.
