The front of Grosvenor House, Island View consists of the three sets of windows from the right.
Electric Gates at the entrance ensure security.

Actviity outside the apartment.  St Thomas Church and the open topped forest tour bus.
Have a day out - visit the Isle of Wight on the Wightlink ferry from Lymington Pier.
The steps at the bottom of High Street leading to the town quay.  The Kings Head is excellent.
The open top bus stops all around the forest, and  goes to Beaulieu and the Motor Museum.

Island View is a Grade II listed, recently refurbished, larger then average spacious two storey town centre property which forms part of a beautiful Georgian building with a gated entrance to the side and secure parking behind electric gates. The property has been thoughtfully furnished and equipped to a high standard and with a floor area of 840 sq feet has ample space for 4 people and provides everything needed for a comfortable stay in this lovely town. There is a fully equipped dining kitchen with high quality china and cutlery, full range of cooking and food preparation equipment, dishwasher and washing machine (all detergents supplied), Nespresso coffee machine (capsules supplied) and fridge freezer (you will find milk here for your cup of coffee on arrival). Perfect property with private parking in the centre of Lymington. The owner, Brenda was easy to contact and very helpful with quick responses to our needs. The property itself was clean and well equipped for full self catering if required. Very comfy beds with good...More

About the neighbourhood
Island View is situated in the heart of Lymington with its eclectic mix of independent shops, cafes and a full variety of pubs and restaurants, all within walking distance. You can leave your car securely parked in the courtyard and enjoy an evening out with a gentle stroll back. There is a weekly online newsletter which lists all the local events, and the charter market which is very popular on Saturdays throughout the year.

The apartment is ideally placed as a base to explore the Isle of Wight, the ferry is very accessible and the sea crossing takes half an hour on Wightlink. The New Forest is minutes away and can be reached on the open topped bus or the train to Brockenhurst where cycle hire is available from the station.
Getting around
Public transport stops right outside the apartment to Southampton and Hythe, Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst and Bournemouth via Christchurch. The forest tour bus also leaves from the high street, hop on and off all day. You really do not need to drive at all, leave the car and enjoy the scenery.

The apartment is in a prominent position at the top of the high street. Public transport is available directly outside the apartment and the railway station is within walking distance.
