Several supermarkets are on hand (including a Tescos, Marks and Spencers Food Hall, and Waitrose). The New Forest national park offers a huge range of leisure activities such as walking, horse riding, water sports (including kayaking, canoeing and sailing both sea and inland), archery and golf. APARTMENT SUMMARY * First floor with own entrance at the rear of the High Street . * Good sized sunny terrace overlooking shops in a small, quiet courtyard. * Large double master bedroom with a king-size bed, fitted wardrobes, cream carpet and white walls. A large double glazed window (with black out blinds) overlooks the terrace at the rear of the building * Second large double bedroom with a double bed, fitted wardrobes, cream carpet and white walls. Black out blinds at window * Single bedroom with a fitted wardrobe, cream carpet and white walls * Living room with a dining table and chairs, a comfortable sofa, TV and DVD with a selection of our favourite DVDs, a fireplace * Separate kitchen with a large double glazed window and courtyard views. Facilities include fully integrated separate fridge and freezer, washer drier, microwave, electric hob, gas oven and plenty of storage space * Full bathroom with WC, handbasin, integrated TV, roll top bath with shower fittings. This is the second time I stayed in the flat and once again really enjoyed it. It is a lovely flat and great location with off street parking. I would recommend it to any families wanting to stay in the New Forest area.

About the neighbourhood
The Georgian market town of Lymington is set on the coast in the beautiful New Forest National Park, between Southampton and Bournemouth. Famous for its sailing history, there are two large marinas filled with fishing boats and yachts, as well as two sailing clubs. The town’s narrow streets are lined with pretty period cottages and houses, as well as plenty of local pubs and restaurants. Lymington High Street has several independent shops and designer boutiques, as well as a local market held each Saturday which dates back to the 13th century. At the bottom of the High Street, a cobbled road leads down to the Old Town Quay, which is still used by a number of commercial fishing boats. There is often a chance to buy fresh fish on the waterfront. From here you can take a stroll along the w...
Getting around
Lymington is a good base on its own. The apartment is centrally located so you can get around Lymington by foot. A car can be useful if you want to explore further afield but there's a good bus service and train service too
