About the neighbourhood
Ross on Wye is at the heart of the Wye Valley in An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. As a popular tourist venue and part of the famous 'Wye Tour' visitors have been coming here for centuries. The stunning River Wye meandering its way through the town is undoubtedly one of it hightlights. Within a very short walk from the streets of town you can sit on the river bank to picnic or walk and explore the vast amount of bird and wildlife here. The river is very popular with many canoeists and families who gently pass along on their way to the next rest or watering hole! There are of course the ones who like to take the challenge of the rapids which provides much entertainment for the viewer on the riverbank! The nearest canoe launch is a short 10 mins drive away from The Roost. Or discover...
How to get there
The motorway networks of the M5 and M50 are nearest to us and the A40. Further details will be given should they be required
