The people are very nice, the pub is a short walk away with a nice little owl, The cottage was very clean, with a very helpful owner, and in a very lovely location.

About the neighbourhood
There are many pubs and restaurants offering local produce, the local pub is about 15 minutes walk. The City of Canterbury and its historic cathedral is 11 miles and Ashford, 6 miles away, has a Designer Outlet Shopping Centre. The Channel Tunnel is 10 miles away making day trips to France easy. There are riding stables, trout fishing lakes, golf courses nearby and many pubs and restaurants offering local produce. Kent has something to offer the whole family from its sandy beaches to its famous castles.
Getting around
A car is a necessity to get to the sights but there are lots of footpaths for rambling in the beautiful Kent countryside.
