Fantastic one night stay at Anroach Farm. Warm, clean, very cosy and super comfy bed. Everything we needed. Woke to a stunning view and would love to have had time to explore the beautiful area.

We booked a last minute break for my birthday and so glad we did. No better place to open my birthday cards than sat at the picnic table looking out a the scenery. Some great villages/towns nearby and lots of walking opportunities.

About the neighbourhood
The Peak District is an amazing national park with beautiful countryside including Chatsworth's world famous stately home, gardens and grounds. Haddon Hall and Hassop Hall are worth a visit with lots of famous films recorded there and plenty of history to explore. Buxton is nearby with its spring waters and famous opera house or visit Bakewell with its famous pudding and lovely river. The market town of Leek still has a local market and lots of antique shops to enjoy. Many renowned walks and climbs are nearby including the Roaches with stunning views or Lathkill Dale in the white peak. Monsall and Tissington trails are great off road tracks for cycling and walking and some trails are horse friendly mainly flat they are great for all age
