The Apple House is a bright and spacious detached cottage, located in the picturesque village of Llyswen, in the heart of the Wye Valley and only a short drive from the ever popular book town of Hay on Wye. Accessed via a private driveway, it is located within the grounds of the owner's property in a secluded country setting with stunning views down the Valley and towards the Black Mountains. There is a large private garden with tall pine trees providing much needed shade in the summer months, a picnic bench, 2 hammocks, bbq and fire pit. Guests also have access to 6 acres of private meadow and orchards.

The location was amazing, very close to the royal Welsh Showground. Richard & Caroline were great hosts, gave us lots of info about the area, where to eat etc. The cottage was spotless, could not fault at all, lovely decor and furnishings. Great welcome package...More
