Stravaigin Lodge is a comfortable self catering Scottish log cabin in a park beside the magical Pucks Glen. It's perfect for family and friends, on active or relaxing vacation. With stunning countryside, an abundance of forest tracks, botanical gardens, waterfalls and beaches the area is a wonderful place to take time out.

Prices quoted are for two people, i.e., a couple using the master bedroom. The lodge sleeps 6 and additional costs vary seasonally, anything from £3 per person per night during Low season to £5 per person per night in High season.

Really good accommodation at the price. Suitable active groups/ families and dog friendly. As others have noted heating is a bit pricey - though it was cold and snowy during our stay. The lodge is easily accessed from Dunoon from the Gourock Ferry. Pucks Glen...More

Getting around
Having a car is definitely recommended but not essential. The old A815 runs along the edge of the Argyll Forest and can be used as a cycle path. Also Cycle Route 75 from Glasgow passes quite nearby too. There are many walks in the area and these can al be reached on foot, including Puck's Glen, Glen Massan, Benmore Gardens, Bhen Morr itself and Loch Eck. For excursions further afield a cra is of great benefit.
