I stayed here in February 2024 and would highly recommend this apartment. I traveled to folkestone by train and found the apartment easily walking from the station with google maps. It only took about 15-20 minutes. A taxi to Rock Salt would be the quickest option if you would prefer not to walk and there is also parking close by.
The views from this apartment are amazing. The flat is split between 2 floors with the bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and dining room on the first floor and then the TV and balcony is on the top floor. The top floor has a telescope and binoculars which are great as you can look out to the harbour. We were lucky enough to be staying over a weekend where it was a full moon so we made good use of the telescope. There are also lots of books and games upstairs and blankets on the comfy sofa for when you are watching the telly.
This apartment literally has everything you need. There is even a utility room which has supplies should you want to wash your clothes in the washing machine whilst you are here. The kitchen is full of dishes etc if you wanted to stay in and cook and there are also some cook books should you need inspiration. There is a fish stall less than a minutes walk away from the front door if you are feeling adventurous in the kitchen but we opted for the crab soup which was already cooked.
There are two bedrooms both with on suite bathrooms which have a shower and toilet. These bathrooms are newly refurbished to a really high standard. I would love my bathroom to look like these.
Beds are comfy and I slept very well throughout my stay. I would definitely go back as I imagine folkestone to be even better in the warmer summer months.
Whilst we were here, we walked into the town centre and also down the harbour arm. The weather wasn't great but that didn't spoil our stay. The food at Rocksalt which is literally opposite the apartment was amazing on our last night so make sure you book that if you are visiting.
Overall, a lovely apartment in a lovely town. You will not be disappointed :)
