We had a short stay, which a really good stay and the centre of Sidmouth is less than a stone throw away. the flat being on the esplanade is really as you sit in the flat watching the sea. I would book the flat again.

About the neighbourhood
Gateway to the Jurassic Coast, Sidmouth is pefectly placed for exploring the World Heritage Site.
Walk the spectacular coastal path eastwards towards the picturesque fishing harbour village of Beer with its quarry caves and vast underground caverns or the delightful village of Branscombe with its thatched cottages and historic buildings.
To the west lies Budleigh Salterton a lovely sheltered seaside town with the nearby Bicton Botanical Gardens.

Sidmouth is home to an excellent range of individual and independent shops, numerous restaurants,inns and cafes. Amenities include a theatre, cinema, indoor swimming pool, tennis courts, bowling green and splendid parks and gardens.
Each year in early August Sidmouth hosts the celebrated Folk Festival Week.
Getting around
Excellent free hop on, hop off bus service between May and end of September serves the local area, and runs from the town centre to various local attractions such as Salcombe Hill, Donkey Sanctuary etc.

By Car : From M5 junction 30 take the A3052 to Sidmouth or if travelling from A303 join A30 Honinton then join A375 Sidmouth, the town centre is well signposted. Once the seafront has been reached from either direction turn left onto The Esplanade. Wyndham Court will be found on your left hand side a few doors down from The York & Faulkner Hotel.
If parking is not available outside Wyndham Court continue on and take the next left into Ham Lane and on your left you will find Car Park 1. The far left hand corner of the car park is adjacent to the rear access of Wyndham Court via York Cottage pathway.
