The apartment (75 m²) features three rooms, a large kitchen bathroom with shower and WC, balcony and is perfect for up to 5 persons+ a baby. The living room is equipped with 2 comfortable sofas, an additional sofa made up op of 2 mattresses where a fifth person can sleep, a large Sat-TV, DVD, video recorder, hammock and Floccati-carpet. . The bedroom has a comfortable queen size double bed, spacious wardrobe, a commode and a SAT TV. The third room has a sofa which opens into a comfortable queen size double bed, a library, desk with computer and ADSL internet, armchair, baby cot and access to the balcony. You will also find a big library , plenty of games and a safe deposit box for your valuables in the pretty and spacious lobby from which you can access all rooms . Highly recommend this apartment to anyone thinking of staying in Salzburg. It's clean and comfortable, with decent Wi-Fi. Nice to know that the lady who looks after the apartments was downstairs, if we needed her. 5 mins walk to a supermarket and even closer to...More

About the neighbourhood
The apartment is located in Ganshofstrasse 18, in the part of the city called Max Glan, 10- 15 minutes walking distance from the centre of the historical old town . You will find a map on the table where I drew in the shortes way to the center. During summer, besides sightseeing or visiting concerts, theaters, museums you can also go swimming in one of the nearby lakes or the swimming pool in Leopoldskron which is not far. You can go hiking in the mountains in the surroundings of Salzburg, bike riding, play tennis at Tennis Point or just relax in one of the many caffes downtown enjoying the delicious Austrian cakes ,
Getting around
To the center and to the train station you can take bus number 1 (I drew in the bus stop in the map which is on the table). It is also a pleasant 15 minutes walk to the center up to Neutor (see map)
