The open plan/upside down layout not only offers spectacular views across the valley to high Bradfield. The cottage also has been fully renovated and retains much charm with open ceiling and exposed oak beams. The main living accommodation is upstairs with an open kitchen, dining and living space. A large double bedroom beautifully decorated offers a king-size bed. The smaller of the bedrooms has a double with a single bunk over offering various sleeping options for our guests. Solid limestone and hard floors throughout the downstairs with underfloor heating in the winter months keep the place warm and cosy. The bathroom offers a luxury Jacuzzi bath and a huge separate walk in shower. There is a small utility room with washer and dryer. A little fenced garden to the front offers a small outside seating space in the summer. The cottage is opposite a great pub serving local ales and home cooked food. The village has a small general store/post office, a deli/butchers and some great cafes. There's plenty of opportunities for local walks. Four reservoirs surround the village with routes around them all.... Alternatively Sheffield city centre is only 7 miles away and public transport from the bus stop outside the cottage runs 7 days a week. More

Spent Easter Weekend in this lovely cottage. Very well equipped, clean and modern. Low Bradfield is a lovely village, lots of local walks and a great pub directly opposite. Great communication from the owners, highly recommended! Cant wait to return. Thank you!

About the neighbourhood
Only 7 miles from Sheffield city centre we are located in beautiful Low Bradfield. The scenery is stunning with lots of walks and several reservoirs to chose from. The village has all one could need with a little post office and shop, cafe and deli, playing field and park, and of course a great pub opposite the cottage.
Getting around
There is a bus service that runs past the cottage and into Hillsborough exchange where buses and trams can be caught to other areas....otherwise if you want to head deeper into the peaks and explore a car is essential.
