If you are interested in staying at Porto Metropolitan Arean, in my opinion, this is one of the best locations to stay because of the proximity to Porto Historical Centre by train, but with the advantage of staying in a calmer place by the sea. No stress, no need to spend money parking the car, no inflationary prices for tourists, amazing sunsets, beach life, shops around accessible on foot...
Getting around
It is very easy to visit other major cities by train. The apartment is just a few minutes walking from the Train Station: . Porto Historical Centre and Aveiro: around 30 minutes (Urban train; direct) . Coimbra: about 1 hour (Intercidades train; direct) . Braga: about 1 hour (change the train at Porto Campanhã).
