This is the place where you can rest, sunbath and have the time of your life enjoying the view to the ocean and mountains. You will be on the top (9th) floor of a building, with your room and terrace being the only ones on that floor. The owners live on the 8th. Floor and will be delighted to give you all the information needed. Here you will find a cozy room with 1 bed, bathroom,living room, closed kitchen outside on a wonderful terrace only for you. Floor and will be delighted to give you all the information needed. Here you will find a cozy room with 1 bed, bathroom,living room, closed kitchen outside on a wonderful terrace only for you. On this terrace you will have the sun, from sunrise to sunset and a nice view over the ocean, the town of Funchal and the mountains as a background. On this terrace you can spend most of the day sunbathing, resting, making and having your meals and enjoying the scenery. In the room you will find a TV and Internet services. On the terrace you have a kitchen with refrigerator, toaster, electric kettle , stove, grill , microave ,sink and all the utensils needed to cook and to make a barbecue, thus offering the guests the oportunity to enjoy a better stay in this apartment. Looking down from the terrace you can see the Shopping Center Madeira Forum with shops, restaurants, cinemas and a supermarket with competitive prices where you can buy anything you want and have your meals. You can do some nice walking in the promenade over the ocean, just a couple of minutes away, in both directions: Funchal center and Camara de Lobos. Madeira International Airport is 23 Kms. away and since the bus stop is only 5o mts. away, having a car is not a must. HOUSE RULES Check in for new guests from 11 a.m. – Access to the room only guaranteed after l4 hrs. Documents needed: Passport With the access to the room you get the keys to the house, to the lift (8th. Floor), and to your room. From the 8th, floor to the 9th you will find large and bright stairs on the top of which is the door to your room. Check out not later than 11 a.m. We don't mind you smoking, but only outside on the terrace. Inside absolutely not. Car parking is available if requested in advance at the cost of €5 per day. As we don't ask for any kind of deposit, we kindly appreciate that you leave with us, in cash, the amount necessary to replace any damage or broken piece during your stay. The Cleanning fee of € 35 entitles the guest to receive the apartment in perfect hygienic conditions. Any further change of linen, towels and cleanning, required by the guest, will cost € 40. If the guest , during his stay does not want any additional cleaning but only a change of all the linnen towels etc, the cost will be €20 for each change. In the very close neighborhood you can find everything you need during your stay : Shops, restaurants, cinemas, supermarkets, barbershops, flowershops, convenience stors, etc, etc. All this is within a 5 minutes walking area. Close is also the Central Hospital of Funchal and several private clinics. Madeira International Airport is 23 Kms. away and since the bus stop is only 5o mts. away, having a car is not a must. This area is connected with the Funchal Center by a network of buses very confortable and coming and going several times per hour. The bus is located 50 mts from our door. Excellent place to stay, stunning view, wonderful hosts.
We had such a great time here. The first thing to mention is the view... wow.. stunning... waking up to see the Ocean right in front of you every day is such a treat. And really you can see a lot of it from up there! The location is also great, close to the centre of Funchal, you can walk it but its easier to take a bus, and the bus stops are just outside the building, making it really easy to get around.. Also there is a shopping centre just downstairs so quick access to a supermarket if needed. The beach is also walking distance, which was great for daily swimming. The flat has all the basics needed, we were very happy there. Claudia and Stuart are wonderful hosts, Stuart picked us up from the airport, and dropped us back at the end of our stay.. They told us all everything we needed to know about the area and we really felt they cared a lot about how we were and that everything was good for us. We would definitely come back here again. Lovely lovely hosts, great location, beautiful island! Thank you for having us :)

Vue imprenable
Appartement sympa avec une vue imprenable sur l'océan,commerce, restaurant,il y a tout sur place,le propriétaire habite en dessous et en cas de problème sera vous renseigner.Si un jour nous retournons à Funchal c'est cet appartement que nous reprendrons!!!

Stunning View
Everything you need. Perfect terrace. Nice area. Buses and supermarket close by. Enjoyed being there.
