Our beautiful apartment is ideally located in the historical neighbourhood of Penha de França. There are 1 double bedroom and a great common space with a sofa bed, making it ideal for families. #Space The living area is airy, with a cozy decoration. A dining table seats 4 so you can hang out with your family and friends or kick back and relax in front of the TV. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal, including oven, microwave, pots and pans and cutlery. All beds are made up with fresh, luxury linens to ensure a great night’s sleep! There's one bathroom, which are the perfect place to freshen up - wake up in the mornings with the fantastic shower! Fluffy white towels and shampoo are provided. My place will be professionally cleaned before your stay. #Access You will have the whole place to yourself. There is also a dishwasher in the apartment that you can use. We will provide you with the products needed for it, as well as basic supplies for cooking and shower. The whole place is available. You can park in the street for free here! #Interaction My friends at Hostmaker are looking after my home while I am away; they are a short-lets management service team who know Lisbon like the back of their hand! I trust them to look after you and give you a warm welcome! If you have any questions about your stay, please get in touch through the channel platform. #Notes The flat´s capacity is for 4 people. No additional guests allowed. No parties or events allowed. - Check-in and keys: please note there will be a €25 fee for check-ins before 8 am and after 10 pm, and guests will be charged €40 for lost keys. - Hot water: the water heater has limited capacity. Once the hot water runs out, it will take some time for the water to warm up. - Electricity: It is fairly common in Lisbon for the electricity to trip if more than 2 high wattage electrical appliances are being used at the same time. Guests are advised to keep this in mind when using appliances like heaters, washing machine, hairdryers, toasters, fans, etc, and there will be a €40 charge in case electricity trips due to overuse. Most homes in Portugal don’t have central heating or air conditioning, heaters and fans will be provided. - City tax and ID: Government mandated city tax of €2 per person per day (except children under 12 years), will be charged to you at check-in and your Govt ID will be collected at check-in for submission to the authorities as required by local laws. Please note city tax is only applicable for a maximum of 7 days continuously, we do not accept cash. - Finally, please be eco-friendly and turn off all the lights and electrical appliances (such as heaters and fans) when you leave the apartment! #Neighbourhood Located in the heart of the old downtown of Lisbon, to the north east of the Castelo de São Jorge, Graça is one of Lisbon’s oldest and most popular neighbourhoods, dating back to the 11th century. Sitting on the hillside overlooking the Tejo river, the Miradouro de Santa Graça is a beautiful spot to enjoy one of the best views in the city, and is popular with locals, especially at sunset. For a truly authentic Portuguese shopping experience, check out the Feira da Ladra Flea Market, where you can browse makeshift stalls selling everything from old silverware to vinyl records and hand painted tiles. The city’s most famous form of transport, the iconic Number 28 tram stops in Graça and a trip on the beautiful original 1930s trams is the ideal way to get around while seeing some of Lisbon’s history. The Jardim da Cerca da Graça is a beautiful hillside garden that is the perfect place to sit and enjoy a coffee or a cold drink from the kiosk and enjoy the view in the peace and quiet. As far as great restaurants go, Cantinho Da Fatima is only open for lunch each day and gets very busy with local workers, but it’s worth waiting for a table for the very reasonably priced dishes of meat and rice. Meanwhile, Penalva Da Graça is one of the best local seafood restaurants where the portions are enormous and the staff are friendly. Damas brings hipster vibes to the old neighborhood, with live music and a small menu based on fresh, seasonal ingredients.
