The 'Rosalina House' is situated in a lovely village square, in the middle of the historical neighbourhood of Graça: The Estrella d'Ouro neighbour, since 1909! The street is very calm and familiar. However, is very close to the main street of the neighbourhood and to some other good points of interest. Although, increasingly touristic, Graça continues to be a very tipical portuguese neighbour, with local people and commerce. The little house presents a space plus a surrounding, very well-coming. It has a lot of natural light, with several windows in all divisions. The street is really quiet. The Kitchenette, it's equipped with the essential to make simple meals and to eat at home. There is all sorts of services around: plenty of stores and services, laundry, groceries and a supermarket in 3m on foot. Plus, in Graça, you could find several options to eat outside and good! There's a lot of variety: good bakeries with tradicional sweets, typical and more modern restaurants. And whatever is your choice, I think you'll be pleased and the price is always inviting! Guest access The entire apartment is at your disposal and it will be available fresh towels and clean sheets at your arrival. There's wi-fi available. HOW TO GET THERE: It's easy to get to Rosalina's house from the airport, by taxi or Uber. I suggest Uber/Cabify/Mytaxi (download the application on your smartphone) because it's a better service and it's cheaper than the traditional taxi (about 8-11€). There's also possibility to take the subway. The route will take about 45m. If you take a taxi/uber, then it will only take 15/20m. After confirmation, you'll get a map and a detailed description of each one of those options. Interaction with guests I'l be available by message or email, in case you need any help throughout your stay! Please let me know if you need an iron! Check the Rosalina House Instagram: lisboa.casa.rosalina ! Please, use the hashtag: #casarosalina ! Enjoy Lisbon! The neighborhood It's in the highest hill of the Lisbon's city that sets Graça's neighbourhood, one of the oldest. Situated near to the Castle, delivers amazing points of view to his residents and to who visites it. It has two overlooks with breath taking view over the city: Graça's outlook, near the church - with a kiosk and a terrace to take a drink at the end of the day - and Senhora do Monte outlook, higher, where you can see the Castle and its upside hills. Besides these places, other touristic points like: the multicultural Mouraria neighbourhood, Rossio's square, the imponet National Pantheon or the Alfama's picturetesque neighbourhood (where you can listen to the best Fado), are reachable by foot, if the weather invites or you can just take the typical tram 28. Today, the neighbourhood, has a lot of cosmopolitan and rurality, where old and young residents live in a cool harmony, making of Graça, a place with a lot of history and soul! Getting around Has I said, Graça has a lot of life, good restaurants, typical commerce, several lookouts, churches and it's close of several touristic points like the St. Jorge's Castle, Sé Church, National Pantheon, Alfama and Mouraria neighbourhood by foot if you enjoy explore the city walking (personally that's my kind of way to explore places). But don't forget, old Lisbon has lots of ups and downs because of the seven hills, so if you get tired you can always plan your visits taking the 28 tram, several buses or walking 15m to the subway. Other things to note The house has one bedroom, with a 140x200 bed. The common living room his like a studio with kitchenette and a bathroom. There is one comfortable sofa-bed (also 140x200) really easy to arm and desarm and one more sofa, where one person can sleep. Fresh towels, clean sheets and blankets will be available. In the house there's a heater and a ventilator to keep you comfortable. Although smoking is not allowed, you'll have access to a common outside balcony if you want to smoke (as shown in pictures). Warm water is provided by a thermo acumulattor of 80 gallons. It suits perfectly to 4 people. In case you're more than 4, I advise you to manage warm water, wisely. HOUSE RULES - In general, check in should be done after 3pm and check out before 12am. However this may be flexible depending on the bookings we have for the apartment before and after. Please let me know your check-in/out preferences in advance so I can coordinate things in the best possible way for everyone. - Please, reduce noise in late hours (after 10pm to 8am) - Smoking in the house is not allowed! However you have easy access to a lovely balcony for a smoke! - It will be charged on your arrival, the TOURIST LISBON TAX for the nights spent here: 1€ per day, per person to a maximum of 7 nights in a row. Children with 13 or under are excluded. Tourist License / Licencia de turismo N °: 163435More
