This studio apartment with a private garden terrace is situated in the famous De Pijp district in Amsterdam, only 450 metres from the Albert Cuyp market. Van Gogh Apartment includes free Wi-Fi and bicycle rental is also available.

Museum Square, which features the Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum, is only 15 minutes' walk away. The Heineken experience is a 10-minute walk from the apartment. Van Gogh apartment is less than 200 meters from the nearest tram stop which offers direct links to Amsterdam Central Railway Station.

The sitting area includes 42 inch flat-screen TV with a hard disc full with movies to watch. Apartment Van Gogh also has a kitchen with a hob, refrigerator and microwave and big oven. The bathroom includes a modern rainshower, heated towel rail and free toiletries.

For the eternally inquisitive, many will try to second-guess what de Pijp stands for but the truth is, no one really knows. Perhaps it owes its name to the long narrow streets that resemble pipes or to the infamous gas company, the 'Pipe', which used to supply energy to the area.
