This modern apartment is a very rare catch because it is situated in a villa near the conference centre. There are only 23 detached houses in Amsterdam and just 10 of them are at the waterside and with a private parking space. There are 2 bedrooms each with with Kingsize beds and 1 bathrooms. If you would like to stay a week there is a possibility to rent the kitchen. The huge and very well equipped kitchen is also on the first floor, The dining table in the kitchen seats 8 persons and there are two sunny terraces (facing South and the canal) and possibilities to eat outside. Appartement très agréable pour un séjour à Amsterdam tant pour la qualité du logement, l'accueil des propriétaires que pour l'emplacement qui nous a permis accéder au centre à pied facilement durant notre séjour. Le quartier est très calme et l'emplacement voiture dans une grande ville est très appréciable. Nous le recommandons vivement.

Great stay in a great place
The room is great, fully furnished with great amenities. The location is also great, a few minutes from a tram to the Dam square, 3 minutes from the RAI center and a beautiful park, and two minutes from a street with plenty of restaurants and a supermarket. Gracious and helpful hosts that will help you with anything you need, highly recommended!

Great family stay
We had a great stay at Froukje's place in Amsterdam. The location was excellent, close to many of the areas we wanted to visit in Amsterdam. Having the two rooms was also very convenient for us as we were 4 adults and one baby. Foukje is a great host who made us all feel very welcome and was very accommodating. We made use of the bikes that were available as well. A great little bonus.

great apartment
great apartment and location and very helpful and nice owners. Restaurants,shopping all next door and only 20 minutes by foot to the center.

Great choice for Amsterdam
Good location, handy for tram into town. Super facilities and smart location, plenty of places to eat nearby (inc families), plus supermarket and lovely park. V quick access to Schipol via Amsterdam Zuid - 15 min leisurely walk across the Park.

Fantastic apartment, great location.
We were a group of 4 staying in Amsterdam for the weekend for a friend's wedding. We took an Uber from the airport and it cost €18 and took about 15 minutes. The area is really nice and relatively quiet. Certainly not full of tourists and I mean that in a positive way. It's a short walk to a supermarket and lots of bars and restaurants. It's a 5 minute taxi ride into central Amsterdam but you could walk if you wanted to. The apartment was pristine. It had everything you needed for a short stay. It was like an IKEA show home! An added bonus was having a lovely garden backing onto a river. Froukje, the owner, was really nice and helpful and made us feel very welcome. She even let us check out quite late on the last day which was a big help as our flight was later in the evening. Overall I couldn't say enough positive things about the location and the apartment and the owner. After speaking to friends who stayed in hotels over the weekend it was an awful lot cheaper than what they paid for a boring, sterile hotel chain. I will certainly consider booking this apartment the next time I am in Amsterdam. Thanks Froukje!

Très bon séjour
Notre séjour s'est très bien passé. Dommage que nous ne soyons partis que 4 jours! Avec les vélos (2 prêtés par les gentils propriétaires et 2 loués) nous avons pu visiter le centre d' Amsterdam qui était seulement à 10 minutes de l'appartement. L'appartement était très bien, très clair.Nous avons fait de belles photos d'Amsterdam. Je recommande cette location

Girl weekend in amsterdam
The appartment is part of the owner house with a separation, you get your own key to a different answer. It is very high quality furnished. Very comfortable beds, floor heat, garden and kitchen. The owner very friendly and super helpfull.

Super Ferienwohnung
Lage ist okay, ca 500Meter bis zur nächsten S-Bahn Haltestelle. Die Zimmer, Terasse und Parkmöglichkeiten sind überdurchschnittlich und sehr sauber. Das Badezimmer inkl. Dusche ist etwas klein jedoch vollkommen ausreichend. Immer wieder gerne!

About the neighbourhood
The B&B is not in the city centre but in a nice neighbourhood Amsterdam Zuid (10 minutes by tram to the centre) opposite the RAI convention centre and the Beatrix park. The neighbourhood has a good selection of restaurants and shops and parks (for running you can start just across the road).
Getting around
Tram 5 and 4 takes you to the centre in just 10 minutes but if you prefer to get around like the locals you can go by bike or walking (20 minutes)

How to get there
If you arrive on Schiphol airport you can either take a train (7 minutes) to Amsterdam-Zuid and from there it is a nice 10 minutes walk to the house via the Beatrixpark. or you can take an Uber. €25 If you arrive by car, take the A10 around Amsterdam and take exit 109. From there it is 2 minutes. The subway from the B&B is 4 minutes walk and takes 5 minutes to the city centre.
