    The Granary is a 300 year old Gower stone grain store and is an ideal escape for a couple who need to get away from it all. The beauty of Gower’s hills, cliffs and beaches are all within just 10 minutes drive. The accommodation is a smoke free zone and has the following features – lounge/diner with full size cooker, ceramic hob, dishwasher, and Freeview TV. There is a log burner and a basket of logs ready to give the cottage a warm feeling that will last long after you have left. On the upper floor there is a galleried double bedroom with an en-suite shower room and TV. If you have a baby we can provide a cot. Bed linen is provided but guests should provide their own towels. Our village has a doctor’s surgery, chemist, excellent local shop, swimming pool, sports club and public house. The Granary is a great place to come and relax, and we hope you will come and stay. We welcome our guests 12 months a year for both long and short breaks (short breaks out of season).More

Guests are met at the barn and are shown and explained the facilities, and given advice about the many World renowned beaches and historical sites all within 5 miles of the property. There are some great Pubs and restaurants locally, several of which are Pet Friendly, which Steve will help you discover

    About the neighbourhood
    Gower’s richly varied natural environment of heath, grassland, fresh and saltwater marsh, dunes and oak woodland, is internationally important. The AONB has five Special Areas of Conservation, three National Nature Reserves, two Local Nature Reserves and many Sites of Special Scientific Interest. Among the many fine natural habitats are the mud-flats and salt-marsh of the Burry Inlet (a Special Area of Conservation, Special Protection Area and Ramsar site) and the species-rich limestone grasslands of the south Gower coast.
    Getting around
    The barns are just 900 yards from a main bus route, situated on a quiet lane which is also a bridleway. The walking is fantastic and you can walk all over Gower from your front door. The costal path is 1.5 miles away and i recommend combining your walking with the excellent bus service. Many guests bring their bikes and there is secure storage available. There are numerous excellent pubs, serving local brewed ale and cider, many of which serve locally sourced tasty food.
