Podere Incrociati is surrounded by a natural environment, with tracks that go through the woods and that are ideal for mountain-bike, horse-back riding and trekking excursions. The outside fronts have maintained their originality, while inside the building, most part of the ancient hand-crafted brick floors has been restored, as well as the ceilings with their old wooden beams that had been blackened by the smoke of the mantelpieces, which were once the only source of heating; the old irregular walls and the arched ceilings have been preserved, too. The old forniture makes the place comfortable and charming, respecting the ancient rural Sienese traditions. The apartment Camilla (about 75 sqm) offers two bedrooms with bathroom, one with bathtub, the other with shower, a kitchen, laundry room in common. The apartment is located in a typical Tuscan structure of the year 1800 that has been recently restored, trying to keep its originality. The property is surrounded by a large lawn, it offers a shared swimming-pool. Our staff will welcome the guests and will be present for any need. There are some services available on request, they have to be booked in advance: typical Tuscan dinners, cooking classes, tours around the Chianti-area, the Val d'Orcia-area, San Gimignano, Volterra, horse riding, bike rental and bike tours, transfers to and from the airport, visit to the cellars, sommelier courses. The swimming-pool opens from 1st of June to 30th September.Included in the price are: taxes, electricity, hot water, bathroom and bedroom linen, the use of the common laundry room with ironing facilities, final cleaning. Heating is not included, payment on consumption. There are 4 baby cots available that can be rented. If interested, kindly advise in advance. The cost for each baby cot is Euro 15,00 per week.
