Caprera is an elegant village in Liberty Style built at the end of 19th Century. The place has retained its original charm, still offers all modern comforts and facilities; Ideally located for visiting Siena and its countryside, the Chianti area, the 'crete senesi' and the Maremma seaside. Suite Le Camelie is a cozy one-bedroom suite with windows overlooking Siena, the farmyard and the old church. The joined dining room and living room create a cozy and romantic space. A separate fully fitted kitchen opens on the dining room. The suite entrance is at ground floor although all windows are located on 1st floor for the difference of terrain levels between two sides of the villa; this makes the suite easily accessible but also very safe, private and bright. A charming, rustic and well tended villa situated a few minutes from Sienna, but feeling entirely in the country...perfect for those seeking a quiet, restful holiday. A gracious hostess-we picked lettuce from her garden for supper-everything just perfect...We did much sightseeing and riding during the...More
