Condo/Apartment -
1 Bedroom , 1 Bathroom , Sleeps 4
Florence, Tuscany
Terrazza de’ Medici is situated in the historical centre of Florence, just a stone’s throw from the Ponte Vecchio and the main sights of the city. Elegantly furnished with a rich combination of antique furniture and modern day comforts, the apartment is found on the first floor of a beautiful 14th century building which looks out onto Borgo San Jacopo, a characteristic street which leads to the famous Ponte Vecchio and its boutiques, bars and restaurants. The apartment is 70 sqm and is made up of the entrance, lounge, dining room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom.

In addition, there is a wonderful terrace with aedicula, where guests can enjoy a panoramic view over 5 avenues and relax with a cool drink, or have dinner under the moonlit sky. The triangular terrace is closed to one side by a 14th century loggia, known as the “bellosguardo”. It...

Greatly influenced by the powerful Medici family in the 15th and 16th centuries, Florence became a pioneering city for medicine, for Renaissance art and for gold and leather work. Many workshops and artisan craft stores along the Ponte Vecchio bridge are literally hundreds of years old.

With one of the highest concentrations of art, cathedrals and museums in the world, Florence and its centro storico are hugely popular for culture. Visitors come for the stunning frescoes in its many cathedrals, Michelangelo’s David or the palazzi spreading out from the centr...
