The apartment is in an ancient building that was a hostel for pilgrims centuries ago. It is furnished with antique furniture and unique collections. There is a small living room on the street side and the bedroom and the kitchen are on the opposite side, so they are very quiet. There is a lovely private courtyard garden outside where you can eat and relax. The apartment is near many monuments, Pitti Palace, Boboli Gardens, Porta Romana, Ponte Vecchio and Santo Spirito are just a short walk away. City bus 11 stops nearby and there are intercity buses to Siena and other Tuscan towns from Porta Romana. There are a supermarket and a bakery a few steps from the door. Many restaurants and bars are found in the area, yet via Romana is a tranquil and secure area.
