This charming third-floor, elevator-accessible apartment (48.5 m²) is full of light. The building was built in 2004 and the apartment features modern furniture.

About the neighbourhood
Giudecca, an island south of the city, is situated opposite the Dorsoduro district on the other side of the Giudecca Canal. This authentic island is ideal if you want to live among the locals although the neighbourhood has been attracting an increasing number of tourists. You will find a mix of 17th-century houses, beautiful Gothic palaces, modern buildings, and old factories from the early 19th century restored by famous architects.

The promenades to the north are lined with convenience stores, trattorie, and bars filled with locals, students, young families . . . and the occasional lost tourist.

The vaporetti now make regular trips to the island both day and night (only 2 minutes from Dorsoduro, 10 minutes from Saint Mark's, and 15 minutes from the train station).

FROM THE AIRPORT(S)
From the Marco Polo airport


By blue ATVO bus
(travel time: 35 minutes)

Cost: 6€ one-way ticket or 11€ return ticket. Tickets not sold by the driver (except on bank holidays and between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m.). Tickets can be purchased at an ATVO ticket booth or from an automatic ticket machine at the bus departure bay.

Schedule: First bus leaves at 7:50 a.m. - Last bus leaves at 11:50 p.m.
2 buses departing every hour (at 20 and 50 minutes past the hour)

Alternative: The ACTV public bus (Line 5) runs at 10 and 40 minutes past every hour between 4:08 a.m. and 1:10 a.m.

- Take the bus to the Piazzale Roma terminus (most vaporetti leave from here)
- Cross the square, and take a vaporetto (Line 41) (travel time: 15 minutes)
- Get off at Palanca
