Doge's House is a well appointed apartment (2 bed rooms, 2 baths with a small living room & kitchen) in central/Castello district of Venice! If you are staying longer, there is laundry facility down stairs, which was a big bonus for us.
The owner/operator was very helpful and professional.
The only concern I had (especially with kids) was: the stairs are steep, they span close to the entry way of one of the bed rooms. They added a small gate as a protection, so make sure you use it...especially during night time.
Overall, we enjoyed this place and recommend it.

Wir waren mit dem Appartement und auch mit der Ver...
Wir waren mit dem Appartement und auch mit der Vermieterin mehr als zufrieden. Die Wohnung war exakt so toll wie in der Anzeige beschrieben. Alles war sehr sauber, sehr gepflegt und einladend. Ilia hat uns von der Fähre abgeholt und uns zum Appartement gebracht. Die Wohnung liegt zentral und ist prima ausgestattet. Es gab sogar eine Flasche Sekt zur Begrüßung und in der Küche standen Kekse, Brotaufstrich, Kaffee und Tee bereit. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll und liebevoll eingerichtet. Sogar Shampoo und Duschgel passten farblich zu den Badfliesen. Wir können dieses Appartement auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Danke Ilia für die schönen Tage in Venedig - das Appartement hat viel dazu beigetragen!!!

Perfect centrally located apartment with laundry
This is the perfect apartment for people on a long trip. It has a great location close to St. Mark’s Square and the Rialto Bridge. The laundry is on the ground floor and makes staying here even better. Up one flight of stairs to two bedrooms, a full kitchen and dining room and a nice separate sitting area. The kitchen is well stocked. Two bathrooms are also a big plus. Out side is a nice pedestrian walkway with some terrific dining options nearby. The house manager checked with us daily to see if we needed anything. We have been toVenice many times and have now found the perfect place to stay. I highly recommend this apartment.

Appartement parfait
Nous sommes arrivés à quatre personnes accueilli par Ilia a notre arrivee près du mont RIALTO .
L'appartement se trouve à 2 pas du Riato ou de la Place Saint Marc.. tout était parfait , il ne manquait rien et ce fut un plaisir pour nous. (Les photos sont en tous points à l'identique).
D'une propreté remarquable, la literie est excellente.
Quelques petites confitures, petits gâteaux, le café et le thé, pour le matin , nous ont permi de ne pas faire à la va-vite des courses en arrivant.
Enfin un pur bonheur. . Merci Ilia..

Près du pont Rialto
L’appartement est agréable, bien équipé et très propre . Situé à proximité du pont Rialto et Place Saint Marc. Il y a un marché d’alimentatIon à proximité. L’acceuil d’Ilia est sympathique et accommodant.
Nous avons aimé notre séjour.

sehr schöne Wohnung in guter Lage
schöne Wohnung im Herzen von Venedig, etwa 8 Minuten zu Fuss vom Markusplatz entfernt. Alles was man braucht ist vorhanden, ein kleiner Supermarkt ist etwa 5 Minuten zu Fuss entfernt.

Fantastische Ausstattung, noch bessere Lage und super hilfsbereite Vermieter!
Bei Ankunft waren wir alle äußerst positiv überrascht: Die Wohnung übertraf unsere Erwartungen bei Weitem. Super ausgestattet, sehr zentral gelegen und Vermieter, die jederzeit auch mal für Tipps erreichbar waren.

Wunderschöne Wohnung im Herzen von Venedig!
Doge's House ist eine wunderschöne Wohnung im 1. Obergeschoss eines sehr alten Hauses mitten in Venedig.
Eine geschäftige winzige Gasse ist gleich darunter aber die Wohnung ist durch schalldichte Fenster vom Lärm draußen total abgeschirmt. Man hört nur ab und an die Bewohner von oben aber vor allem nachts ist es sehr ruhig.
Die Wohnung ist bestens ausgestattet mit allem was das Herz begehrt. Zwei große Schlafzimmer, zwei Bäder, eines davon klein, eine riesige Küche mit allem drum und dran und ein Wohnzimmer. Alles liebe- und stilvoll eingerichtet, wie auf den Fotos zu erkennen. Auch Waschmaschine, Trockner und eine Bügelstation sind vorhanden und Regenschirme. Gute Internetverbindung und Fernseher in jedem Raum (englische und italienische Sender).
In der Küche stehen Kaffee, Gebäck, Zucker und Gewürze zur Verfügung.
Die Wohnung liegt sehr verkehrsgünstig, zur Anlegestelle S. Zaccaria sind es 3 Minuten zu Fuss, zur Anlegestelle Rialto 10 Minuten.
Ein gut sortierter Coop-Laden ebenfalls 3 Minuten, sowie viele kleine Geschäfte und Boutiquen.
Die Vermieterin (oder Verwalterin) holt einen gerne bei der Anlegestelle Rialto ab und zeigt den Weg zum Haus, den man allein wahrscheinlich zunächst nicht finden würde. Sie ist eine sehr liebenswerte Person, liest jeden Wunsch von den Augen ab ;)
Wenn wir wieder nach Venedig kommen, werden wir gerne wieder im Doge's House übernachten!
