This modern apartment with one bedroom and parking space is located just outside Porta Zaragoza, a few steps from the famous arcade leading to the Basilica of San Luca. You can easily get to Piazza Maggiore and the city center on foot in about 10 minutes. The Railway Station and the Fair can easily be reached by bus, which transits in the apartment’s immediate vicinity. Air conditioning is available in the bedroom and living area; hardwood floors make the bedroom warm and welcoming, while the living area features terracotta tiles. Since the apartment is on a mezzanine level, you must walk a dozen steps to access the property’s front door, which is located in an inner courtyard and, therefore, in a quiet spot. The apartment opens onto a spacious, bright and cozy living room; a wall divides the kitchen from the living area, which is perfect for rest and relaxation. The living area is furnished with double sofa bed facing the entertainment set, which accommodates a 24” flat screen TV. The kitchen is wide, fully equipped, modern and functional. Guests can make use of a folding table, which can accommodate up to 6 people, and a comfortable island, complete with stools, which is suitable for quick lunch or breakfast. Cabinets offer plenty of pantry space and frame major appliances, such as electric oven and dishwasher. From the living area, you can reach the balcony, which overlooks a tucked-away internal courtyard. The bedroom, which is accessed by climbing 3 stairs, is also very bright, thanks to large window carved next to the comfortable Queen-size bed. The bedroom is furnished with large 4-door wardrobe and chest of drawers. Finally, the bathroom is exquisitely decorated, and includes washing machine, large shower and wall-mounted sanitary ware. Area The apartment is located in the distinctive Porta Zaragoza district. It is an area that gravitates around Piazza Maggiore: here, you can visit the Church of San Petronio, one of Italy’s most important churches, Palazzo d'Accursio, Museo Morandi, Palazzo Re Enzo, the Civic Museum, the imposing Piazza Nettuno with the beautiful fountain by Giambologna and the former Sala Borsa, home to a large multimedia library. In the vicinity, you can find a cluster of intertwined narrow streets featuring spice markets, pubs, trendy clubs, as well as typical and historical food stores. On your way to Porta Zaragoza, you reach the entrance to the longest portico in the world - about 4.5 km - that leads to hilltops, up to the Basilica of San Luca. Public transport: Bus 94 passes directly on Viale Carlo Pepoli, headed for the historic center, Railway station and Fair. Parking: The apartment is outside the restricted-traffic area (ZTL) and can be reached by car. An assigned parking space is located inside the courtyard of the apartment building. Important: guests must pay a tourism tax, which is not included in the price. Fees range from € 1.50 to 5.00 per person per night, depending on the value of the reservation.
