We stayed here for 10 nights and the location just outside Tivoli provided the perfect base for us to explore Rome and the surrounding area.
The property itself is a lovely place to stay, with host Lillina very attentive, and the four beautiful dogs the most friendly companions you could ask for - we all loved having them around. The accommodation is all on one level next to the pool and had enough room for ourselves and our two children. You have your own privacy when you need it, and it is very easy to access the swimming pool.
The pool is great, and we often swam late into the warm evenings as the sun went down to keep us cool. The surrounding gardens are beautiful and well kept by Antonio the gardener, who also took us to see their beautiful donkeys!
Travel into Rome is best done by car, which is not as daunting as it sounds, with parking readily available and the roads all good quality. We also took a trip to Pompeii which was just over 2 hours in the car, but again high quality motorway with easy access to the site.
We would highly recommend staying here either for a peaceful few days away, or a base to explore the surrounding area.

We spent a fantastic holiday in Villa Montanara in Tivoli and had a wonderful rest. Everything was perfect - the apartment, the wonderful garden with the many olive trees and the wonderful pool.
Lillina was an excellent and attentive host who told us lots of interesting things about Tivoli and Rome. Her adorable dogs gave us a lot of joy. Feeding the sweet donkeys was always a highlight.
We really felt very comfortable here and would love to come back here again.

Wonderful holiday. Absolutely amazing host. Lillina was so lovely and was so responsive if we needed anything. Even told us about local history, where to go for food and how to get to Rome, such a lovely person. Lilinna made our stay very special.

Fantastic villa with gorgeous pool and grounds. Really enjoyed our stay here, easy to get to from the airport, near a lovely supermarket and was a beautiful location.

Wir waren mit unseren zwei Kindern (2 und 5 Jahre) dort. Ein Riesen Grundstück mit riesigem Pool. Es war ein Traum. Die Wohnung selbst ist nicht sonderlich groß, reicht aber vollkommen aus. Wir haben viel am Pool gelebt. Die zwei Hunde haben unsere Kinder verzaubert. Wir kommen gern wieder!
Einziger Haken mit kleineren Kindern ist, dass man mit dem Auto nach Tivoli zum Essen muss.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Le domaine est très joli et au calme, avec une belle vue sur Tivoli. La piscine est un vrai plus après les journées de visite ou lors des journées détente. Notre hôte a été très sympa également.

Io, mia moglie e due bambini di 7 e 10 anni, abbiamo soggiornato una settimana, all'inizio di Luglio, a casa della Sig.ra Lillina per una vacanza che aveva come obiettivo principale la visita di Roma città. Eravamo alla ricerca di una soluzione indipendente, con la possibilità di organizzarci i pasti in autonomia e sufficientemente tranquilla e protetta per consentire libertà di movimento ai nostri piccoli piuttosto attivi. Preoccupati del prevedibile caos e dell'afa del centro città alla fine la nostra scelta di trovare alloggio fuori città si è rivelata provvidenziale, avendo trovato la pace ed il clima impensabili in città in un periodo molto caldo. Per raggiungere Roma la soluzione migliore in assoluto è stato il treno da Tivoli, in poco più di un ora si arriva a Roma Tiburtina da cui parte la Metro. Ci siamo immediatamente resi conto che tutta la zona offre innumerevoli occasioni di visita oltre le mete "ufficiali" ed abbiamo allora diversificato le attività in funzione della capacità di gradimento e resistenza dei bimbi. Abbiamo alternato giornate a Roma centro, spesso piuttosto faticose, a visite più rilassanti alle imperdibili ville di Tivoli, terminando sempre il pomeriggio con un rigenerane tuffo nella fantastica piscina di casa. Le accurate descrizioni contenute nell'inserzione sono assolutamente veritiere ma non possono esprimere la più che premurosa ospitalità della proprietaria che testimonia in ogni occasione il profondo affetto per la casa in cui è nata e cresciuta, motivo di orgoglio per le proprie radici.

Nous avons passé une semaine magnifique chez Lilina et Agustino.
Leur très belle propriété située sur les collines face à Tivoli bénéfice d'un très beau point de vue sur la région.
Si vous montez jusqu'à leur petit étang vous pourrez même apercevoir le dome de la basilique St Pierre à Rome !
Le gite est grand, bien équipé et se trouve à proximité immédiate de la superbe piscine.
3 beaux sites à voir à Tivoli : la Villa d'Este, la Villa Adriana et la Villa Gregoriana.
Rome est à 30 mns en voiture.
Mais ce que nous retiendrons par dessus tout c'est l'accueil merveilleux que nous ont réservé Lilina et Agustino.
Malgré notre arrivée et très tardive (2h du matin), ils étaient présents tous les 2 pour nous accueillir.
Le frigo avait été rempli de petites victuailles oeufs et fruit du jardin, charcuterie , fromage,yaourt , biscuits.
Lilina et Agustino nous ont fait découvrir leur propriété et tous leurs animaux pour le plus grand bonheur des enfants.
On se sent bien chez eux et on a qu'une envie en partant....y retourner très vite.

Ville très antique situé à quelques minutes en voiture de la propriété nichée parmi les arbres à agrumes et les oliviers. Vue imprenable, calme absolu, accueil chaleureux, toutes les nécessités pour passer un excellent séjour. Literie très confortable… Je vous recommande cette adresse
