This was the perfect place for our short visit to Rome. Quiet cobblestone street. Literally one block from ruins and 2 blocks from views of the colleseum.
Master bed and the sofa bed were comforable!

Awesome location, walking distance to just about a...
Awesome location, walking distance to just about anything we wanted to see!! The views were amazing and the choices of restaurants were incredible. We rented a Vespa to get to Vatican City. All the tours and guides were amazing. The memories we made will never be forgotten!!

I never imagined that I would be staying just one ...
I never imagined that I would be staying just one block away from 2,000 year old Roman ruins. The location is fantastic, next door to the Roman Forum and less than a 15 minute walk to the coliseum. We also walked to the Vatican from the apartment. The owner thoughtfully provided a couple of maps we could use to get the big picture while relying upon Apple Maps to navigate the streets and alleyways.
The apartment has an incredibly comfortable bed and there is a Rain shower in the bathroom. The TV was a little on the small side, but we did not come to Rome to watch TV. The owner made a point of meeting us at the house and giving us a walk-through along with recommendations for nearby restaurants and stores. Would not hesitate to stay here again if our future brings us back to Rome.

The Monti neighborhood is great, and the host (Valentino) pointed out some good markets and eateries nearby. We were able to walk to most sights of interest to us: the Roman Forum (part of which is right at the end of the street), the Colosseum (10 mins, or even less to a great overlook at Ponte degli Annibaldi), the Trevi Fountain, and the Pantheon.
When Valentino welcomed us to the apartment, he rightly warned us about keeping our bags secure. Our first night in Rome, my older daughter (aged 22) thought it was safe to put her bag under her chair at a nearby restaurant, and it was taken by a couple who briefly sat next to our table but left without ordering anything. Fortunately, there was little of monetary value in the bag, but my daughter was heartsick about it. I told Valentino, not because I expected he could do anything about it, but as another cautionary tale he could tell future guests. Valentino suggested we file a police report with the nearest carabinieri station, and we did the next day. (Had to come back when the computers were running again, lol.) Valentino said that thieves sometimes dump bags after taking the cash, and then they are turned into the police. We included Valentino’s name and number on the form.
We were amazed when Valentino messaged and called two days later to say the police had told him they had my daughter’s bag. It took perseverance, but we did get the bag back before leaving Rome. So, many thanks to Valentino for his help!!!

Great location for walking to many of the sites in Rome. Place is exactly as described, clean and very well stocked with everything you would need. Valentino was a great host, was responsive and always eager to help with any questions we had. Thanks for the great vacation!

The location of the apartment is perfect. We reached all the main areas that we wanted to visit by foot of subway (Vatican). Valentino is very attentive and provided useful advice. We used the kitchen a lot, it is small but had everything we needed. The space is good for max. 3 people. La zona Monti è bellissima, ci siamo sentiti a casa. Grazie mille per la bella vacanza!

Valentino( The owner) met us at the apartment and gave us a thorough briefing of the apartment including a walk to the Forum. Prior to our arrival he reached out to use and streamlined the process of transpiration from the airport to the apartment.
We were very satisfied with the accommodations.

Valentino was an amazing host, very good communicator on and helpful. He greeted us at the apartment and got us settled. The location is fantastic, we could walk to everything, but it is tucked away on a quiet street. Definitely recommend
