About the neighbourhood
In the immediate vicinity there are 2 big supermarkets and some great bars and restaurants. We have a list in the apartment for people to try if they want and we'd love it if guests would add to it.
Getting around
The Fly Bue Catamaran ferries people from the Marbella Marina to Puerto Banus. It's a half hour journey and good fun. Rock music and beers (the latter at a price). You can also walk along the promenade to Puerto Banus. It's 6km but flat. Get a beer at the marina and watch the wealthy preen. See the odd celeb. Early birds can visit the street market which winds its way up toward the bull ring. Buses run every 10 mins or so if you are too tired to walk back. There are also taxis and bicycles for hire. The night life for party goers is in Puerto Banus. Marbella town is more sedate. Wealth is everywhere but more understated in Marbella town. It's quite a small place so impossible to get lost but there is so much history to see and admire.

How to get there
Airport: Malaga: 48.0 km
If taking a taxi from the airport, just ask for Marbella, Ricardo Soriano. Galp Garage (ex Repsol garage).
The apartment is almost immediately opposit, across the road from the Galp garage. Most taxi drivers and locals even in Malaga know the ex Repsol now Galp Garage in Marbella.

If driving, from the airport, follow the signs for Algeciras/Cadiz and exit at junction 184 'Marbella Centro Urbano' Drive under the Marbella Arch and follow the road through town when it becomes Ave Ricardo Soriano. Look out for the Galp garage on the left.
The apartment is no more than 50 metres from the garage on the same side of the road you are driving on. Immediately opposite the garage on your right is a small, short road called Calle Marques de Linares. There is a gym right at its corner. You...
