Hacienda Casares apartments are situated on the Dona Julio golf course with wonderful views down the golf course down to the sea. On a clear day you can see Gibraltar and the North Africa coastline. The urbanisation has a communal pool with mountain views and landscaped gardens. New for Spring 2018 WIFI will be available in the apartment. The apartment has a master bedroom with a double bed and en suite. There are 2 other bedrooms with 2 single beds in each which can be pushed together if required. There is also a new single mattress under the double bed which can be made up for a child perhaps sharing with parents. I had a nice few days here, away from the town centre, yet only 5 mins drive to the shops and beach. Nice views of golf course and mountain.

I stayed here with my sister, my mum and myself for a week in April. we flew to Malaga and took the scenic drive along the coast road - beautiful views and very easy to navigate! On arriving at the apartment we were greatly relieved...More

About the neighbourhood
The local town of Sabinillas is less than 10 minutes drive away. The town has a beach-side promenade and a variety of cafes, bars and restaurants. Many shops, a pharmacy and supermarkets. Next to Sabinillas is the lively port of Puerto de la Duquesa, offering ia variety of bars and restaurants overlooking the marina. Live music and entertainment,providded especially at the weekend.. The beautiful village of old Casares is well worth a visit and is renowned for its pretty white houses.One of Spain's best kept secrets and is only 20 minutes drive up the Casares Road. A great place for bird watchers as Griffon vultures and hawks can be seen circling on the thermals high around Casares town, above the church, castle ruins and pretty cemetery.

Ferry: Estepona: 8.0 km
AIRLINES: Budget airlines fly from UK airports to Gibraltar and Malaga. The nearest airport is Gibraltar which is only 30 minutes drive away. If picking up a hire car from inside Gibraltar make sure you leave enough time when returning the car as long queues can form going into Gibraltar. from Spain. Alternatively collect the hire a car from over the boarder in La Linea,Spain. Malaga airport is approximately 1 hour away depending on time of travel. The motorway toll road and the coast road coming from Malaga are both straightforward and well signposted.
