With the economic crisis came the decline of the trade & the conversion into residential premises. During the refurbishment of the building it was very important to preserve the original industrial character, such as the red bricks, the concrete floor & the floor-to-ceiling windows. Due to the unique downtown location, almost directly next to the event main station, you can reach everything you need such as supermarkets, cinemas, bars and restaurants in just 3 minutes on foot. Almost everything is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The large shopping gallery "Ernst-August-Galerie" with its numerous shops is also easily accessible. If you feel like strolling through the city in the evening, I recommend you visit these trendy clubs: the Sausalitos, the beer market, Osho, Zaza, all only 3 minutes away. The popular cultural center Mezzo is also worth a visit, for many night owls it is THE starter for the evening.
Getting around
The main train station is 300 meters away. Here you have good connections in all directions. With the S Bahn "S4" you drive 7 minutes to the exhibition center. To the airport you need with the S5 only 18 minutes. From the main train station you walk 300 meters to your location. By car you need 8 minutes to the exhibition center in good traffic conditions.
