This chalet is in a central Chamonix location with south facing panoramic views of Mont Blanc, Glacier des Bossons and the Aiguille du Midi.

Chalet Primerose is140 m2 in private surrounding and has 6 bedrooms sleeping up to 12 people. It is located within 800m from the centre of Chamonix and is a short walk or drive to Le Brevent ski area and also in the summer it is very close to the rock climbing wall at Les Gaillands.

With 3 levels and a basement, on the ground floor there is an entrance hall, WC, lounge, dining room and a kitchen (washing machine, dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer) as well as French raclette cooker.

Your booking is confirmed with payment of 30% first installment to be completed within 7 days of reservation or full payment if the booking is made within 10 weeks prior to arrival.
Your final payment of 70% payable no later than 8 weeks PRIOR to arrival.
A deferred cautionary damage deposit is required upon arrival using your credit card details, unless otherwise agreed.

About the neighbourhood
Chamonix is best known for its extreme skiing, climbing, high mountain hiking and mountain biking. This busy alpine village is extremely popular in the winter and summer seasons with tourists clambering for a glimpse of Mont Blanc. Chamonix has all the facilities of a town; with a great variety of shops, restaurants and bars, cinema, museums, sports centre, ice-skating, tennis, squash, swimming pools and a very good 18 hole golf course. There are fabulous walking and running trails all over the valley, some are world famous and every year Chamonix hosts the ultimate &Ultra Trail; covering over 154km in August. For hikers this trail is known as Le Tour du Mont Blanc (5+ day walking trip). The climbing is spectacular. Really worth a visit.
Getting around
FREE regular bus & train services running every day through the valley of Chamonix. The local buses that run through & around the outskirts of Chamonix town are eco friendly electric, other bus & train services take you further: Les Houches, Servoz, Les Praz, Argentiere & even Vallocine which boarders Switzerland. Ask our team for free passes!

Other services include: Bus service through Mont Blanc Tunnel to Courmayeur. Private taxis run to other major resorts & of course transfers from Geneva Airport. The lifts & tele-cabines in the valley which take you to fantastic hiking & climbing trails around Mont Blanc, incl the highest lift in Europe, Aiguille du Midi & the Montenvers train takes you to the Mer de Glace, Chamonix's famous glacier.

Airport: Geneva: 80.0 km
Railway: Chamonix: 2.0 km
Ferry: Calais: 900.0 km
FLY: Our recommendation is that you fly to Geneva airport it is only 50 miles to Chamonix and takes little more than an hour. You may choose to hire a car or arrange a transfer. There are many transfer providers, we work with the best & most reliable & are very happy to help arrange transfers directly from the airport to the apartment for you.

TRAIN or BUS: You may choose to travel by train or public bus from the airport. Although this is cheaper, it does not save you much money, the journey takes much longer and you still have to find your own way to the property once you reach Chamonix.

DRIVING: If driving, then from Calais the journey is around 850 miles and with minimal breaks the good motorways will see you in approx. 9 hours.
