Of course, if someone wants a day off, Annecy is a wonderful town to explore. All year long. The apartment is quite comfortable. The kitchen, bathroom and WC are all updated. (The WC update will be complete end of March 2019.) There are two bedrooms; one with a queen size bed, one with two singles. There is also third room (tv/office) with flat-screen tv and fold out sleeper for two to accommodate larger groups. In addition to the sleeping areas there is a spacious living/dining space with an extendable dining table. (Six Tolix dining chairs as a nod to the French designer Pauchard and the 1930s.) During the summer months take advantage of the outdoor garden area with table and chairs. The apartment is easy to reach, it's on an elevated ground floor (meaning it's accessible, but secure). Wireless internet is provided. There is off street parking as well. Our family lived in Annecy for three years and purchased this property prior to returning to Iowa, where we are from. We have a management company that cleans and provides fresh linens and towels for each of our guests. We, or our management team are also available if needed. Interaction with guests
The interaction with guests is primarily through email. There is an Annecy based manager for emergencies. The apartment will be prepared for your arrival and you will receive a code to the lock-box on the exterior of the building. There is also a land-line phone inside the apartment that renters are welcome to use and may contact me either by phone, or email. There is also a Welcome Book which answers most questions about the apartment and provides general information about Annecy. I will send a detailed PDF with photos to thoroughly review Check-In steps.

The apartment is ideal for couples or a family and in an excellent location. Private car park included for 1 vehicle which is ideal. Cooking facilities are more than adequate with a well stocked inventory of utensils. Having visited Annecy over many years this makes...More

We chose this apartment based on location and space even though there were only 2 of us. You could quite easily accommodate a family or 4 adults. The kitchen has everything for cooking should you require and we were even provided with a 'welcome' package...More

About the neighbourhood
This apartment is in an EXCELLENT location! Beautiful Lake Annecy is a short walk away! There is a Galeries Lafayette store, just one block to the east. There is a larger mall, including grocery store, and access into the pedestrian walking mall, just a couple blocks to the west. The train station is right on the other side of the mall and it's a ten minute walk to the apartment from the train station. The main bus station is also at the train station. We are walking distance to all. The bus stops across the street. There is also a private parking lot for the apartment building. This building has ten apartments; it's a nice small complex. Our apartment is on the first floor, but it's elevated by about six steps. This raises it enough that you feel secure that your windows are up high and y...
Getting around
Walking is convenient from the apartment. Grocery, dining, the lake, markets and more are all within walking distance. The train station and main bus station are also within a ten minute walk. There is a bus stop right outside of the apartment. My husband and I don't normally rent a car when we stay at the apartment. We arrive either by TGV from Paris or, if we fly into Geneva, we arrange for a driver to meet us and drive us to Annecy.
