Excellent location and Nico the manager was extremely nice & helpful. Very small bathroom but good shower & hot water, old misfitted windows which couldn't be secured open consequently banged continually, badly uneven kitchen floor with loose tiles, awful musty smell permeated the place, 3...More

Having decided on an eleven-night car-free stay in Avignon (so easy with the direct rail service from London St Pancras) we found this apartment proved ideal for the three of us. The owner's photos and description are accurate. The furnishings are traditional as opposed to...More

It was a lovely heritage apartment. Thank you for Philipe for your help that was way beyond and much appreciated as we were delayed in our arrival. Loved the view over the stream. Probably too small for 2 couples but OK for a family. Needs...More

About the neighbourhood
Avignon, a strategic site in the rhone valley, owes its origine to the Doms rock. With the arrival of the popes in the 14th Century, the city became a second Rome. It was enriched by art in the 17th and 18th Century, and its remained papal property up to the French révolution.
Strolling in the old streets in search of antic dealers and art galeries, discover its local cuisine in the tea-rooms and the restaurants. Taste the famous Côtes du Rhône wine of which Avignon is the Capital

The flat is located on the backside of the historical church of the Pénitents Gris and is on the crossroads of the Rue Teinturiers, one of the most charming cobbled streets of Avignon lined with restaurants, bars, shops and theaters.
