Fishermans Cottage with private courtyard & garden

Cottage -
2 Bedrooms , 1 Bathroom , Sleeps 4
Collioure, Pyrenees-Orientales, Occitanie
“St Margaret's” , an 18thC fisherman's cottage, is situated in the historic heritage-listed Faubourg quarter. Although it is just a short walk from restaurants, shops and the beach, the cottage is located in a quiet residential street. Rue Nungesser et Coli is a cobble-stoned and stepped pedestrian-only street.

The cottage has two-bedrooms, a well-equipped modern kitchen, a spacious sitting room with two sofas, and a bathroom with shower, bath and toilet. There is a balcony at the rear of the cottage, with steps down to a sunny courtyard. This is bordered by a colourful bougainvillea bush and has a table with a sun umbrella and seating for six people. Courtyards are quite rare in a Collioure maison de pêcheur (fisherman's cottage).

How to get there
Airport: Perpignan: 30.0 km
Railway: Collioure: 1.0 km
Collioure is only 26km from Perpignan which is well serviced by air and by high-speed trains from Paris, London and beyond. Those with more time may wish to drive to Collioure, either via the superb network of French autoroutes or a more leisurely journey via the back-roads of rural France.

There is a large council-run car park only 100m from the cottage. It has both short-term and longer-term parking. It is much cheaper to buy a weekly ticket if you are staying for a week or longer. There are also several other council car parks around the village for short-term parking.

There are also several free on-street parking sites close to the cottage. These sites are generally not known to tourists and are therefore more likely to have parking spaces available. Details of th...
