Overview
Condo/Apartment -
1 Bedroom , 2 Bathrooms , Sleeps 2
Paris, Ile-de-France
Our apartment is situated in avenue Montaigne, now considered to be la grande dame of French streets for high fashion and accessories, more important than rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré. Avenue Montaigne boasts numerous stores specialising in high fashion, such as Dior, Chanel, Valentino and Ralph Lauren, as well as jewellers like Bulgari. Several established clothing designers set up here, particularly the LVMH (Moët Hennessey Louis Vuitton) group.

This luxury rental apartment is located in a five stars residential complex, equipped by a very sophisticated security system. Our apartment is on the third floor via elevator. It is 70 square meters wide and consists of a bedroom, living room, bathroom, toilette room. The bedroom faces an internal courtyard an it is very quiet. The large window of the living room looks at the avenue Montaign...

Interaction with guests
Nanda, who greets you, has lived nearly all his life in Paris, and can certainly give you all sorts of good advice on what to see and where to go. When you check in he can walk you around the neighborhood and indicate where to do grocery shopping, quick food or an elegant meal. The metro passes can be bought on the corner, and Nanda is an expert on the bus routes. Also he has usually seen the exhibitions shown at the moment, and will be very pleased to help you find the ones you would enjoy.

About the neighbourhood
The Champs-Élysées area is well known for the lights and the theaters, such as the Lido, and the good restaurants like Fouquet's and the eateries like Pizza Pino, The shops are ready-to-wear from all over the world, Marks and Spenser's is there and Morgan's and Zara and Mango and a few French ones like Zadig and Voltaire and Tara Jarmon. A must is to check out the storet Aberchrombie and fitch. Such a great store!
Avenue Montaigne has all the really beautiful designers.....and the prices are much higher. But shopping is free.....Valentino is just across from this apartment and Dior on the corner one up. Chanel and Prada and Louis Vuiton are next door neighbors to mention a few...
Restaurants: try Chez André for really French food;
Getting around
Two main Metro lines serve the apartment. Line 1 is all the length of Champs-Élysées even down to the town hall, worth seeing, called Hotel de Ville.
It crosses avenue Montaigne at the stop ave. Franklin Roosevelt.
Line 9 runs from Place d'Alma to Galeries La Fayette and the other huge store, Printemps, We have Metro maps at the flat and many guides for Eating and Drinking and Walking in Paris. Uber is also a solution.
A lovely walk is across the bridge at Place d'Alma and down to the heart of the Left bank St. Germain du Près. Many buses also run from stops at Alma.

How to get there
Orly is nearest. CDG is further, and now that Über exists, taxi fares have come down.
However there are buses from the airport to town called CARS AIR FRANCE and for a reasonable fare you can get close to the apartment.
