Built in 1902 Number Six is a Cotswold stone 2 bedroomed terraced cottage (+ double sofa bed in lounge) on Sheep Street in the very heart of Chipping Campden. The cottage benefits from fast speed internet throughout private off road parking for 1 car (The local bus stop is less than a 5 minute walk from the cottage) and all pubs restaurants small independent shops footpaths and historical sights are within a very short and easy walking distance. The front door leads directly into the spacious lounge with comfortable seating and fully stocked pine dresser, TV, DVD, CD/Radio and log burner. From the lounge a staircase leads to a landing area with full length mirror, 2 bedrooms to the front of the cottage and the bathroom to the rear. The first bedroom has a double bed, the second bedroom has a king size bed which can also be split to provide twin beds on request. The lounge sofa is a sofa bed which can sleep an additional guest comfortably (small extra charge) making the cottage an ideal base for families with more than 2 children, or a group of friends travelling together. The bathroom has been totally refurbished (Feb 2019) and has a modern walk in shower, WC and cabinet with dual sinks. Views from the open window look over neighbouring Cotswold cottage rooftops and The Old Silk Mill. The price includes a supply of tea, coffee, sugar and milk on arrival alongside locally sourced welcome goodies relative to length of stay. The owner was quick to respond and very helpful and friendly. The cottage is lovely and Chipping Campden is a good location for exploring, with lots of pubs for eating out. Would definitely recommend!

Comfortable cottage which provided a nice place to rest after a busy day. Day to day items provided including towels; close to amenities. Good selection of pubs nearby and shops providing a range of foods and luxury items. Broadway is quite close and is well...More

About the neighbourhood
Number Six is situated on Sheep Street in the very centre of Chipping Campden. All pubs, restaurants, independent shops & footpaths are within a very short walking distance. The beautiful and historic High Street of Chipping Campden is just steps away from the front door, and in the other direction a short 5 minute stroll leads into the Westington area famous for its gorgeous thatched cottages. The neighbouring village of Broad Campden where you will find the Bakers Arms Pub (BBC drama Father's Pub!) is walkable in no approx 30 minutes. There are many places nearby for Breakfast / Brunch or just a coffee if you prefer to sit and watch the world go by!
Getting around
Chipping Campden is on a regular bus route between Moreton in Marsh and Stratford upon Avon which enables guests to take the Paddington Line from London, and pick up the bus to arrive in Chipping Campden. During the stay, this route also makes visiting Shakespeares home Stratford upon Avon an easy option. Full details and information can be given on request.
