The City Centre has all the shops, clubs, restaurants you expect to see plus alot more besides. You can easily spent the day just shopping and still would not see everything. Sports fans are catered for with the new football stadium. Willen Lake for a variety or water sports. Planet Ice for ice hockey and figure skating and the new SkyFix. Milton Keynes may be a high tech, modern place, but we still have all the old villages of Stony Stratford, Bradwell, Newport Pagnell and the market town of Olney to name but a few. We are a 25 minute drive from Northampton and Wellingborough. Slightly further afield there is Woburn with its Safari Park and Abbey. Bletchley Park famous for breaking the Enigma Code during WWII. We are approx. 16 miles from Silverstone Race Track. Close to Towcester ...The City Centre has all the shops, clubs, restaurants you expect to see plus alot more besides. Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.
If you have submitted a review for a holiday rental property, we may also ask that you provide us with proof of your stay to ensure that your review is attached to the correct rental property.
Holiday rental reviews collected via the VRBO website (formerly Homeaway) and syndicated to the Tripadvisor website are not currently subject to Tripadvisor’s standard moderation processes.

Nice to have your own space
Nice apartment as an alternative to a hotel or usual B&B's as you have your own space and lounge area and don't have to deal with anyone else while you are there. Clean and very well equipped with some nice extra touches and apart from one very small step into the bedroom all on one level and you park right outside. Good location just outside the centre of MK and not far off the M1 and easy to find. The breakfast provided was ok although our preference would be to have sealed and fresh products rather than re-used milk containers, meat/bread in tupperware and some ingredients in the freezer. It is a little tired in places and as part of the conservatory quite cool. The radiator in the bedroom made a knocking noise and the valve did not work to turn it off so unfortunately that, and the noise from next door's(?) TV until quite late, unfortunately meant we did not get to sleep till nearly midnight. Also, due to the layout and everyone cooking fry-ups in the mornings it did smell a bit musty/stale cooking. With a fresh coat of paint/updating and little tlc with regards to the kitchen lino, shower sealant, new roller blinds, it could be five stars. We would consider staying here again but would take our own food, earplugs and a plug in airfreshner.

Just Perfect
This apartment met our every need. The host, Jilly, was very considerate and we had absolutely everything we could need, and then much more. The location was perfect for us and we were unable to find any fault, it was totally comfortable and of the highest standard. We do not hesitate to recommend this property. Thank you Jilly.

Just the best ammenities
Quiet self contained 1 bedroom apartment. Comfy bed, comfy chairs, TV with Sky and Video player with large range of videos, washing machine, full kitchen with everything you could need. Wonderful breakfast supplies. Easily the most comprehensively stocked apartment I've ever stayed in. About 3 miles from Milton Keynes central.

Excellent accommodation.
Nicely situated close to many amenities, the only noise I heard was of the birds singing! The apartment is so well equipped, I thought I would challenge Jilly to see if she had thought of all the needs her guests might require. I failed, she has thought of everything even down to a disposable shaver ! Well done Jilly you won. We had a very nice weekend and enjoyed meeting you.

Quiet and Warm
We have recently spent the weekend here. This accommodation is quiet, good heating and hot water. Good welcome provisions. Seemed clean at first glance but soon became apparent that it was not. Toilet seat stained and definitely not clean between lid and seat hinges. Chunks of fluff behind bed (my phone charge lead brought it out), Crumbs on kitchen floor by sink. Mould on bathroom window. Half screen shower with an over friendly shower curtain. Cluttered half full toiletries in bathroom cupboard gave no space for our own toiletries. Food cupboard was full of opened condiments, cereals etc which we preferred not to use as uncertain of dates. This is a step back into the 80’s with items on every shelf, dozens of videos, random extra furniture. Our review on booking.com was met with wrath from the landlady. The landlady claimed in her retort that everything was bleached!! We politely suggest a refurb and deep clean in order to justify the price asked. Any reviews on booking.com that did not give 10/10 was responded to with insults. Very unprofessional comments. We could put plenty of photos to prove we are giving an honest review but choose not to embarrass Jilly any further than her previous responses already have. We scored this accommodation 8/10 but with suggestions for improvement
