Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.
If you have submitted a review for a holiday rental property, we may also ask that you provide us with proof of your stay to ensure that your review is attached to the correct rental property.

Outstanding Short term Rental / Holiday let whilst house hunting. Highly recommended.
We were looking for a property that would tick a lot of boxes; holiday let, home from home, cozy retreat, a perfect base for house hunting and a property close to excellent walks, outdoor facilities, running & cycling routes.........................a big ask but Bramble Cottage on Bogridge Farm ticked every box and more! A beautiful cottage that is perfectly placed for exploring the region with both countryside and cosmopolitan towns such as Harrogate, York and Ilkley on your doorstep. The wildlife is wonderful - Kites, woodpeckers, Owls and squirrels are regular visitors to the garden. Internally the property is immaculate and has every appliance you would every need. Owners Emma and Robert are very friendly (but discreet) and available if ever needed. We haven't managed to find a home yet but we have found a little slice of heaven! We will be back - Highly recommended.

Fantastic Intro To Yorkshire and a wonderful idyllic location
We booked in May to visit a couple of days of the Word Cycling Championships in Harrogate. Not disappointed, arrived at 5 ish and Emma greeted us. Cottage is one of two in the farm. Set in a lovely country seemingly remote area (Its not its 1.5 miles to a local rail station which we used to get to Harrogate - 15 minute journey). The cottage has a comprehensive introduction and welcome pack. Eggs (From the farm!) Feels that a considerable amount of time and effort been used to maintain the high standard of the cottage. Spotlessly clean. We were three blokes staying and felt that nothing was wanting. If there was a problem I would say, but there simply wasnt. Thanks for looking after us and a fantastic time I shall be back again with my wife and dog,

A place of rural beauty
Immaculate cottage. Pretty spacious with interesting staircase layout in entrance hall. Incredible attention to detail and very friendly easy going hosts who work on the farm and the beautiful garden. In a hilly spot at the end of a little track.

An exceptional place to stay.
The Cottage was a great location for visiting places of interest in Yorkshire. It is in peaceful surroundings with lovely walks from paths nearby. The cottage decor is lovely, very comfortable and of a high standard with very thoughtful extras on our arrival to welcome us. We would definitely like to stay again. Thanks to the owners Emma and Rob for making us feel welcome. Sheila and Baden Gee

Simply the best!
Wonderful place! The cottage is delightfully and tastefully decorated, with a kitchen and bathrooms updated to the finest designs. When we arrived, Emma had set out fresh eggs from her own chickens, a bowl of fruit (apples, bananas, kiwi, oranges), biscuits, tea, coffe, and milk...things we could refresh ourselves after a long journey. During the mornings before leaving to tour the Dales, we spent time on the large patio, enjoying a cup of coffee. Emma was a wonderful host with good recommendations for places to eat. I would strongly recommend Bramble Cottage to anyone who wants to visit this area of Yorkshire and hope that we get an opportunity to return.

Wonderful, Comfortable & Relaxing
Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. One of the best equipped self catering cottages we have ever stayed in. All interior fitted out with the highest quality fittings. Plenty of equipment in kitchen and good amount of crockery and cutlery...very necessary when there is a dishwasher!! Emma and Robert very helpful and friendly. Convenient to train station in Weeton and also just a short drive to Harrogate. Close to Otley, Harewood House. Short drive to Bolton Abbey and Fountains Abbey. So impressed we have rebooked for early 2019!!
