Our stream house cabin which has exterior lighting, a deck and a fire pit for selaxing.

The ensuite bedroom.  We have two other bathrooms both with showers one with a bath.
The upstairs sitting room is a lovley place to relax.

The house was designed to face the sun and get the most light possible.
The Kitchen has all the appliances and limestone flagstones woth south facing views.
The kitchen windows face directly south onto the back garden and the mountains.
The handmade doors, internal stone walls and pot belllied stove in the kitchen.
The pot belied stove and living room to rear.
The kitchen like all the downstairs rooms has a wooden ceiling to give a cosy warm feel.
The main open fire in the living toom. Guests can burn turf, peat briquettes and wood.

An architect designed rural retreat built with local wood and stone at the foot of the mountains in the Slieve South facing into the mountains the woodlandsong maximises on light and views. Built at the foot of the mountains in the Slieve Bloom Environment Park. An open plan siting room and gallery loft gives a sense of space and flow to this section of the house. Designed to maximse on light and views with a south facing aspect into the mountains. Two sitting rooms one upstairs and one downstairs and two open fires. Three bedrooms and an open gallery bedroom space.

About the neighbourhood
The Slieve Bloom Environment Park is designated as an area of natural beauty and conservation and is one of only a few in Ireland. It is around 90 minutes fron Dublin airport/ sea port and under two hours from the fery terminal in Rosslare. We are close to two radial train lines starting in Dublin - the train from Tullamore heads west to Galway and from Portlaoise head south to Cork - these make for alternative days out.

Two miles from the local village of Clonaslee - we detail a lovely walk, taxis will bring you home from a night out ( we have names of them in the house) Tullamore takes just twenty minutes from there you have the motorway network heading across the country. From Emo you can head south on the M7.
